A breathless sigh escapes the girl's parted lips. Her lips gently quiver from the cold, letting her eyelids droop shut for a moment. Hearing the wind howl through the midnight air, letting the wind caress her bare thighs. Her face bare with no make-up, just dried tears. A shaky sigh is breathed out.

"You know... It's not good to be outside in the cold while you're sniffling, you could get a sickness you know," a voice was calling out to the young girl. She looks up, to see the only person left, the only other one that survived.

"...Why did this happen to us..." The girl cried into her palms, her sniffles becoming sobs. The bitter wind howls once again, except bringing more chills. The boy walks up behind her and hugs her tightly, whilst feeling the breeze against his flesh.

"It's alright now, we'll get back onto our feet sooner or later, relax, I'll take care of both of us in the meantime, now get some rest, I'll bring us to safety..." And not a moment too soon, she falls asleep into safe and loving arms of her brother.

"Rosamonde! Get up! We're about to be late for school!" An older brother of a younger sister attempts to awake the sleeping girl. The girl was asleep blissfully, until it was the time for herself to stomp out of bed, and become prepared for the day that is ready for her.

"Alright, alright! I'm up Leo, stop bothering me!" A little sister, whom has a fiery attitude, a best friend that she would die for, there is no exceptions but her brother and her best friend to enter her life, every spending moment, she enjoys with her best friend, and her brother is someone whom she can talk to whenever. Rosamonde looks up towards her brother, and glares sleepily at him, making him smirk.

"Get your lazy butt out of bed whenever you need to Rosamonde, but just saying, the bus leaves within an hour, so I would hurry your little legs to the bathroom then just stare at me all morning," Leo speaks, the grin never leaving his face. He then turns around and walks towards the cream door, leaving the room and closing the door right behind him.

Rosamonde grunts in annoyance and stretches her arms and legs, enjoying the sound of her bones cracking. A smile now plastered onto her face, she walks towards the closet door, and slides the door open, grabbing cahill denim jeans, some black converse, and a comfortable tank top with a black and white flannel. Grinning at her outfit, she then walks into the bathroom to change.

"Leo! How much more time is left until the bus comes?" Rosamonde asks, still tired from waking up.

"Just 47 more minutes, why do you ask Rose?" Her brother yells from downstairs.

"Just wondering, because I have to do something before I leave!" She shouts from above, almost fully awake. Rosamonde strides her way over to the desk, and plop down onto the comfortable seat and grabbing a small bag. She takes out some mascara and a light pink lip gloss. Grabbing a mirror close by she starts to brush the mascara onto her lashes carefully, and after that's done, Rosamonde gently coats her lips with the gloss and smiles at the small makeup that was used to wear.

Grasping the bag strap and hanging it over her right shoulder shoulder, she grins at the preparation she had done the night before, along with all the homework that was supposed to be due by today. Rosamonde strides her way down the staircase and into the kitchen, where a plate full of waffles were ready to be eaten by herself and her brother. She takes a seat down opposite side of her brother and grab half of the waffles he's made, and put some syrup coating over it.

Once they've finished scoffing down all the waffles, they both put their plates into the sink and cleanse their syrup coated hands, ready to catch the bus for school. A smile placed upon the young man's face, and how a monotoned expression laid upon the girl's face. As soon as the two reached the bus stop, they both sat down on the bench waiting for the bus to come and bring them to the hell they call school.

Rosamonde was reading a book, intently reading the book with no concern of the real world at all, and Leo was playing flappy bird on his phone like the person he is. Sooner or later, the bus drove closer to the two to pick them up, ready to be driven off to school, or what the people call "hell".

The bus stops right in front of the two, while the door opens widely, ready to welcome the new two guests joining the crowded bus.

The two walk onto the bus, and give the bus driver some money for the bus fee, and take their seats, which were near the back. Chatter and mumbles were heard all around the bus, making the conversations grow louder and louder by the second. A smile forms onto the girl's face, and she shakes her head lightly knowing that this is how every morning buses will be. Looking to her right, she watches her brother stare out the window, tapping the rims of the glass to the beat of the music.

The girl sinks into her seat on the bus, carrying on reading her book, waiting until the bus finally arrives at their destination. Reading word by word carefully on the pages she reads, she gets further interested into one of the quotes in the book. The bus halts into a sudden stop, indicating that everyone finally made it to their school, ready for another day in the crazy halls of rushing students. Rosamonde steps out of the bus, but still remembering the quote that she loves from the book.

"I don't want you to feel like you owe me anything, that you need to act a certain way, that you need to pretend things are fine if they aren't"
