Athena had to know about this but how was I going to tell her that our mother just kissed the man that almost killed us? I thought I shot him up. "Hey girls!" mother came rushing down the stairs. Athena said hi and hugged her, but I ignored her. " hi Isabella." she said again this time stepping in front of me. I pushed her out of my way and went outside. Daddy came outside, "May I ask what that was all about?" I couldn't really tell him what was I going to do?
" Are you and Amber getting married?" I ask him trying to change the subject. Daddy looked away from me and toward the sun," Baby girl you ha-" I cut him off " You should marry her, she wants you to marry her." I look up at daddy to see him stall looking at the sun. "Have you been reading people's mind again?" he was smiling at me, I knew he didn't like it when I read people's minds.
* 3 WEEKS LATER*
" Amber will you marry me?" daddy was on one knee and smiling his he off. The whole family was there, we all were on the egde of our seats waiting for an answer. Amber looked at me and smiled," I...I" the look on daddy's face got sadder by the second."Yes." She said, daddy lifted her out of her chair and spun her around. As he put her down they kissed. "Eeww" both Athena and I said. Everyone one laughed and we carried on with our night.
Daddy was reading a story to me as mommy walked in. "Goodnight Isabella." I turned on my side facing away from her. "Young lady you will ne respectful of your mother!" Daddy yelled at me. "If you knew the truth than you would be acting the same way!!!" He looked at me with his eyebrow raised.
