She Lies (Discontinued)

II : Dark Visions

The heroes found themselves in the asteroid belt where the rocks nearly colided with each other. The place was cramped and no ship could pass through it.

"There is no othet way to get there except for passing here." said Manhunter.

"We must figure a way how to get across." said Batman.

"Probably Superman can work it-" suggested Robin but Batman cut him, "We DON'T need Superman."

"Gosh, are you two in a war or something?" asked Robin seemingly they were fighting.

"We DON'T need Superman!" said Batman nearly wanting to kick Robin out of the ship, "He's with the rest of the Justice League fighting crime in Metropolis."

"There's crime in Metropolis?" said Robin surprised, "So that's where they are..."

The asteroids started to move closer to each other making the spaces in between even tighter. Martian Manhunter started thinking of a way how to somehow separate the rocks in order to pass through.

"Why not I get all of them?" asked Flash, "I think I can clear it up fast."

"You can't just move them like that, Flash. You might hit others that will land on other planets." said Manhunter who suddenly got the idea, "Green Lantern, can you try to make space for us using your ring? Probably the other Lanterns can help you out as well."

The Lanterns positioned themselves infront of the belt and tried to move some asteroids to the side to make space. Unfortunately, the asteroids colided and some nearly got out of the group. Luckily, they were caught and brought back to where they belong.

"We can't just risk it and break our ship.." thought Manhunter.

"I knew we needed-" Robin got cut off again.

"NOT Superman!" said Batman rudely.

"So, if we can't call Superman or any of the Justice League, who can we call to help us?" Manhunter went roaming around his ship a bit.

"I don't think the other Lanterns will help us. They'll just make it worse..." said Hal.

"Why not I give it a try? Please?" pleaded Flash with an innocent look on his face.

"I don't think it will work, Flash." said Manhunter in a nice way.

"How will you know if I haven't tried?" said Flash as he ran outside to space, "At least I can still breathe. I don't know how but I'll do this!"

Flash started speeding around the area moving several rocks aside. Since he was too fast, some rocks really got out of place and Hal had to fix them back as they can hit anything as it floats away. Unsuccessful, Flash ran back inside the ship, "Sorry about that.." he said a bit a shamed of himself.

"I knew it would not work." thought Manhunter.

"Look at it!" said Robin pointing to the asteroid belt which has got more cramped than before.

"Superman would have made it worse." said Batman. Robin just rolled his eyes.

"There must be a way to get through." Manhunter told them, "We just need to find the right way."

"I hope we find a way inside as quick as possible." said Saint Walker, "It will soon happen."

"Anyone thought of anything?" asked Manhunter. No one answered because they couldn't hear him. "Anyone?!"

Martian Manhunter already asked with a louder voice. "I guess they can not hear me. Probably I should check my connection." He made his way to the back of the ship where he saw Flash opening and closing the connection, "Flash, stop it, please. I need to talk to the others. Without the connection, I can't communicate."

"Ugh.. fine!" said Flash letting go of the source and walked away like he was forced to do something he hates doing. He looked at Manhunter with an immature face as he happily fixed his connection. Afterwards, he went back to his seat and reconnected with them. "Sorry I haven't been online. Any idea in mind to pass through these rocks?"

"The only way is leaving our ships here and move through space." said Hal, "But not all of you can fly."

"If that is the only way how to do it, we might as well just move the rocks away." said Manhunter, "None of us can move the rocks so we might as well call someone."

"But who?" worried Robin, "Superman is-"

"WE DON'T NEED SUPERMAN." thundered Batman.

"Unavailable..." Robin finished his statement with a sigh.

"I know a new hope will come." said Saint Walker, "I hope he'll come very soo-"

Saint Walker couldn't finish his sentence for Dark Visions, a new hero group added to the DC world, arrived to clear the rocks. These heroes have the demonic looks but belong to the good side. They are also like the Lantern Corps without the rings and spectrums. It only took them a few seconds to make a path for the ships to pass.

"I heard you are looking for a planet beyond Pluto." said Demon who has dark magic, "How I knew? Simple, I entered the watch tower and read about this planet."

Manhunter shook his head, "At least you came here to help us."

"And we would love you to come with us." added Sapphire.

"We would want to see this planet ourselves." said Dark Knight who had the power of the moon and space, "We did not just come here to help clear the rocks."

"Wait, why did you go to the watch tower in the first place?" asked curious Robin.

"Manhunter called us but we came late." said Shadow Hunter who had a blaster that shoots long range with dark powder and turned to Manhunter, "I'm very sorry about that. We had to clean a bit back down on earth."

"Why didn't you say they were suppose to come?" asked Robin sounding a bit mad.

"I sort of forgot about them..." said Manhunter sounding unsure, "I'm very sorry for leaving you four. I forgot I called you when Batman and Robin came."

"Okay?" said Robin still not trusting his answer.

"It's alright, Manhunter." said Water Flares who got the power of dark waters, "We did not need you to wait."

"Well, then, what are we waiting for?" said Hal, "Let's get going!" He passed through the rocks followed by the other good lanterns.

Manhunter followed then Batman, then Dark Visions flew behind them. The rocks stayed in the places they were moved to and did not collide with each other. After all have passed through safely, Dark Visions returned the rocks to their former places. "That should fix things." said Dark Knight as they continued their way to the unknown space rock.

So, I did my best to not rush the plot and if ever I did, I'm very sorry because it really happens sometimes and I don't notice it. I probably over looked wrong spellings as well so very sorry. I'll work on it all in the next chapter.

If ever there is an unsure part, please tell me so I can clarify it in another chapter//make a bonus chapter about it in the end depending on what it is about. Also, Dark Visions is a group oc I made and the nemesis is also mine as well. If ever you are wondering how my characters look like, I'll do my best to draw them (actually, my original nemesis is already the one in the cover) but if ever, just tell me. If I draw them, though, it might suck a lot just because I am not the best drawer.
