Blank Space

A simple girl

It's dark and quiet. Everything is so calm and relaxing and ,suddently,  the alarm goes off, and I am forced to open my eyes. I just want to be in my bed for a couple of minutes...  With that, I hear my mom scream that I will be late for the bus and  so I force myself to get up.  I just put on some clothes I find in my closet, comb my hair quickly  and prepare my bag for today's classes. I go downstairs and prepare my breakfast, like every other day, brush my teeth, give a kiss to my mom and I am set to go.  I swear this routine drives me crazy, every day is the same thing, over and over again. 

The good thing about living in a small city is that the bus trip is quick. I live in Northfield, Minnesota with my mom Karen. I actually like it here, it's nice and quiet.

By the time I get to school, the doorbell rings and I ran to my History class, I can't get there late or Mrs. Jenkins will probably kill me. Lucky me she isn't there yet. I see Georgia and Louise by the lockers. They are both staring at me, smiling and honestly they are giving me the creeps. Georgia, the tipical blonde beauty, decides to finally speak and says "Oh my God Melody there's a new boy and he's so handsome!" I instantly start laughing and say " I tought you discovered something big and important, not that. You are always thinking about boys Gigi". We all start laughing and Georgia says " You know me too well Melo".

Mrs. Jenkins finally arrives to class and time literally flies, and suddendly the doorbell rings and it's time for lunch. All three of us go to the cantine, and out of knowere Louise starts gigling and says "There's the new boy look Melo". I turn my head and see the most attractive guy in all universe, with his brown hair, shlightly curled, his baby blue eyes, his perfect skin and beutiful white smile, everything is perfect. He has such a cool vibe with his reaped jeans, white t-shirt and black all-stars. Every girl is looking at him and probably thinking the same. But he seems so arrogant and like he knows it all, and for sure I don't like arrogant people.

In a minute I see Grant and the new boy fighting and arguing. They are shouting and no one is doing nothing, poor Grant. " Why did you pass in front of me in the line nerdie?" "Sorry I was pushed, please don't hit me", grant begs and starts crying. 

Everyone starts laughing and making fun of him. I just can't stand! Who is he to do that to him?! Who do he think he is? Before I know I'm in the middle of the crowd and I angrily say "Are you stupid or what?" and he answers"Shut up this is none of your bussiness, fuck off  bitch!" with that I quickly hit the new boy and everyone looks suprised and speachless. The new boy looks at me with an angry face. In the sea of people that gatered around the event, the principal surfaces and abruply  says  " Mr. Scott and Miss Monroe please come with me to my office right now"
