PART ONE
IT'S ALL FICTION
A narrative memoir of fictional proportions
In this Information age, in these days of all things computer and digital, it is no surprise that my most common means of communications are emails. I have met some really terrific people on the Internet on Blogs and Web Sites. I suppose that is what urged me to place my profile on one of those matching sites. I was not looking for a mate or a date but some people from the other side of my family to relate to and perhaps weave some friendships with. I was interested in finding out how things are going in that other world that I have had so little contact with for so many years.
It was no surprise then that I found this response of interest. It may be that you will too. ~Anne

Subject: Hi
Hey Anne with an E! I was referred to you by the All Women Looking web-site. I thought your profile was very interesting and I loved your sense of humor. Just like you, I am not looking for a partner or a relationship. But I am doing some research for a piece I am writing. Call me Jodi. Is it all right if I call you Anne? Anyway, I am writing a piece about women's place in things and I really want to do an in-depth look at lesbians and their social identification and interactions, from as many perspectives as I can pull together.
Would you be interested in participating? I found your views interesting and I did go to your web-site. Interesting and beautiful to the eye.
Let me know. And feel free to ask me any questions you might have about me and this project of mine, or whatever. Take a look at my profile, it will fill in some of the blanks. And I also don't think we can ever have too many friends regardless of how you feel about participating in the project or not.
Great picture, by the way. Is it a recent?
Thanks
Jodi

Hi Jodi. Nice to meet you. How stunning that you wrote to me with this offer even after viewing my web-site. Often people go running the other direction holding their heads after that experience. LOL
I viewed your profile on AWL (too bad they didn't have an "oh" to add to the anagram, awol...so appropriate). So are you working on your Masters or have you completed it and this is just a foray into a personal project. . .the research, I mean?
