From the shadows I live alone,
My family laughing yet no one's home,
I try my best to call their names,
But all I hear is their anger and hate,
They see me as dead weight,
Dragged along with masked smiles,
Life just seems to be the same everyday,
From the dust around me time moves on it's way,
In the mirror I see my life age, too simple, too plain,
Stuck inside the reflection I go insane,
No more laughter in my eyes,
Only those lonely nights as I cry,
Pushed away into the emptiness,
Locked away to hide their broken mess,
One moment love and hope,
The next moment hatred and too much to cope,
From the shadows I watch time go by,
I close my eyes and then once more I try to survive,
The blade in hand and blood on the floor,
I write on my soul, I can't take the lonliness anymore.
