Throwback

Prologue

On the eve of my wedding, I am walking in the gym of my old high school remembering what happened in here. Basketball games, my first kiss with my first girlfriend, school parties... And my first kiss with my first boyfriend.

    I was one of the popular guy here. I had good grades, I was hot. Blues eyes, brown hair. I had the shape of the ''perfect'' guy. Every girls were totally in love with me. I know, the classic. And I hated it. Being the physical model wasn't fun; it's way too much pressure.

    I go to the storage room to take a basket ball. I've always loved to play this sport. I don't really know why, to be honest. I started playing when I was about nine years old and since then, I've always played.

''Lukas! It's been a long time!'' I hear near the door.

''Coach Anderson!''

''What are you doing here, son?'' he asked me, approaching.

''Visiting my old school'' I said. ''Didn't change much in five years.''

''I know, eh.''

''And you are still here! You need to like your job!' I said, laughing.

''Training kids as you were, is pretty cool. But stop talking about me! Did you find the perfect one?'' he said, laughing and giving me little nudges.

Coach Anderson always loved to teased me about my love life, because he know how girls were with me.

''Well, I am getting married tomorrow. As I just found you, do want to come?''

''Congratulations! but are you sure?''

''Of course! It's not a big wedding though. Just our two families and some friends.''

''I am your friend?'' He asked, not really sure.

''Well, you like a father to me, the one I never had.''

''You are going to make me cry!''

    I laughed a little.

''Lukas, I would be glad to come!''

    I told him the time and the place. After about two hours of talking, I needed to go.

'' See you tomorrow, Coach!''

''See you tomorrow, Lukas.''

    The only thing he does not know about this marriage is that I will not marry a woman but a wonderful man.

    I can't wait to finally call him my husband.
