"Let's go for a walk," Jedikaih suggested, putting his burgundy coloured vans jumper over his Bring Me The Horizon t-shirt and red and black checked shirt. While he waited patiently for their reply, he bent down and put his American flag Vans on, the top of them coming to just above his ankles. Jedikaih looked in the mirror and fixed his septum and snake bite piercings, and fixed his hair from under his black beanie.
"Sure," Shadow replied, fixing his dark grey beanie.
"Where?" Twylana asked, putting her old red converses and her Twenty Øne PilØts jumper on.
"The woods? You know, down by the old abandoned park?" Shadow suggested, a smirk spreading across his face and his green eyes glistening.
As they walked to the woods, they saw the sky as the sun slowly set, a beautiful gradient of a light blue to red, red to orange, orange to yellow, and yellow to the blazing surface of the sun. The clouds were peaches and purples, rolling slowly across the sky.
"I'm hungry," Jedikaih sighed, his gaze turning towards the shop.
"Same. Let's go to the shop. But we have to be quick. It will shut soon," Twylana stated, looking at the small Tesco Jedikaih was looking at.
Shadow nodded, starting to jog over.
"Hurry up, slow coaches," Shadow retorted, turning his head.
"He is way too energetic," Twylana giggled, glancing at Jedikaih. Jedikaih nodded in agreement, picking up his pace slightly.
After they got their food and drinks from the shop, they jogged the rest of the way, with Jedikaih trailing behind. Shadow started to run. He turned around to talk while he walked, not realising he wasn't going. Shadow ran into a rusty red monkey bar from the park and fell over. Jedikaih laughed, pointing at Shadow. Twylana ran over to make sure Shadow was okay.
When they got to the woods, they stopped looking up at the tall trees, the muddy floor lit up by the sky, creating pretty patterns from the gaps in the leaves.
"Beautiful."
Twylana's voice was soft, her American accent quiet. As she spun around her hair flowed behind her as she looked up at the sky.
Shadow and Jedikaih looked at each other and shook their heads in disapproval.
"Girls!" they muttered, laughing slightly.
"It's a good day for a walk," Shadow stated, smirking slightly, his eyes flashed black for a second, knowing what was going to happen later.
Jedikaih nodded, turning around to walk backwards. He fell over his big feet, landing in a muddy puddle. Jedikaih stood up, attempting to wipe the mud off of his black skinny jeans that had holes in the knees from a previous accident. He used his jumper sleeve to wipe the mud off his face.
"Mm. Mud hair gel. That's what all the boys are asking their moms for," Shadow joked, laughing.
Twylana giggled, grabbing Shadow's jumper and walking away as if they didn't know Jedikaih.
"Dudes! Wait up!" Jedikaih called, catching up to them.
"Nah, you're a tad clumsy," Twylana joked, not meaning it. Jedikaih sighed, looking down at the ground.
"I can't believe you," Jedikaih sighed, playing along with the joke.
"She's right ya know," Shadow spoke, this time meaning it, his Australian accent quiet. It was dark.
Jedikaih spun round, throwing a punch at Shadow, getting him right in the nose. He shot a glare Jedikaih, his once green eyes a blazing red.
"Ooo. Good aim mate. But, not good enough," Shadow mumbled, wiping the blood away from his nose.
"Yes! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!" Twylana chanted, covering her mouth with her hand.
"You little...." Jedikaih shouted, running at Shadow. He swung another punch, but Shadow dodged, making Jedikaih dislocate his arm.
"PUNK!" he finished his sentence, grabbing his arm in pain. Shadow laughed as Jedikaih's face screwed up in agony. Once again, Shadow's eyes changed colour. One minute they were a blazing red, the next, an icy blue.
"What the....?"
Jedikiah's sentence got cut short again as Shadow ran at him with a sword, with purple flames.
"Ooooow!" Jedikaih squealed, falling to the ground as pain shot through his body. Shadow smirked.
In a stern manor, Shadow spoke.
"Never mess with me," he said.
Jedikaih gulped.
"I'm not afraid of you!" Jedikaih sighed, his face screwing up from the pain as he grabbed his side with his sore arm and stood up.
Shadow disappeared. He was nowhere to be seen.
Twylana ran over, helping Jedikaih up.
"Jed. Are you okay?" she gasped.
"I'll be fine. It's just a minute pain," Jedikaih lied, feeling faint.
He looked at his hand. It was covered in blood. The blood had gone through his top.
"Let me see," Twylana said in a worried tone.
Jedikaih nodded, lifting up his shirt. The wound was right in the centre of jedikaih's newly done dragon tattoo.
"You need to go to a hospital," Twylana told him.
"No I don't. I'm perfectly fine," Jedikaih replied.
"Jed. Listen to me. The tattoo and the wound could get infected and you could die," Twylana explained.
"I'm honestly, hand on heart fine," he tried to reason with her.
"Did you not hear what I just said? The tattoo and the wound could get infected and you could die," she repeated, saying it slower this time as if Jedikaih was an idiot.
"Fine!"
Jedikaih gave in. Twylana helped him to walk. Once they were out of the woods, Jedikaih fainted, falling to the ground. He thumped his head and it started to bleed. Twylana phoned the ambulance, panicking lots.
Jedikaih woke up in hospital. He had a bandage around his head, his chest and his left arm in a sling. The last thing he remembered was seeing Shadow's purple sword, everything after that was unclear.
"I'm sorry dude," Shadow said as he was taken away by a police man.
"Shadow?" Jedikaih said confused.
"Don't. You need to rest," the doctor told Jedikaih.
He turned his head to see Twylana by his hospital bed.
"Jed! You're alive!" she exclaimed happily.
"Yeah."
His sentence trailed off at the end as he fell asleep.
*two weeks later*
"Jed! Wake up. We got to go to school," Twylana shouted.
Jedikaih sighed, getting out of bed and getting dressed. He looked in the mirror. Jedikaih still had the bandage around his chest and the sling, but he felt better, although he did feel guilty about Shadow going to jail for five months.
