Felicity's Fight (Discontinued)

Ball Night Part 4

All Felicity's POV

We wandered back downstairs, at the same sight we had recently left. Then suddenly...

A dark, scary figure flew through my body, I fell, only to be caught by huge arms. I heard a few shouts across the room. I saw a few people running and pushing everyone to the stage. I was hoisted into the air - I must of been picked up and carried to the stage - as I felt the hard stage floor, my vision came back properly and I felt better. Everyone was behind me, all the guests, everybody frightened.

There were 5 people standing protectively in front of the stage. My friends, my guards -

Casey, Dmitri, Silvia and Isaac.

However there was an elf positioned next to Isaac. The one he was talking to before.

I stood upright, briskly turning to the scared people behind us. I nodded calmly and they relaxed, knowing that everything would be alright. I immediately unleashed my weapon from the air (A/N yes they can do that xD)  the sharp blue blade whistled as I cast it downwards. Lucas stepped towards me, in his hands were burgundy leather nun chucks, gripped tightly with his big hands. I hurried over to my friends and stood fixed in the same pose they were in. We all looked around cautiously, waiting for the thing to strike again.

Then a blood curdling shriek echoed through the ballroom, almost everyone groaning in pain at the noise. A misty smoke emerged from the ceiling, circling the chandelier, making them sway in all directions. Just then the ugly face swooped down, only to disappear with a pink arrow through its ghostly form. Casey smirked as she defeated the monster. Yet no one moved, still waiting, watching. Another shriek rang through the hall, this time with multiple flying beings emanating from the ceiling. The elf shot with his hunters bow, detailed with gold inscriptions, impaling a dark figure. The ghostly people swiftly attacked me, only to be sliced in half with the tip of my blade. Everyone defeated the ghostly shadows, and no one was hurt luckily. I turned to be faced with one of the beings, almost nose to nose, I heard Isaac shout behind me,

"Felicity, don't move." And I wasn't planning too either. The creepy phantom had no skin, but the skull was slightly cracked on the left side, see-through like the rest of its misty body. No eyes, just empty eye sockets. It had no features at all apart from the mouth. It's mouth was scarred, and as it opened, inside was black, crooked teeth. Mouldy-looking.

"You shall survive this time, queen. But you will fall by the demon king, not even your powers will save you. Beware." It shrieked in a low raspy voice. Once it finished talking it flew through the crowd, disappearing through the wooden floor.

"Everyone must stay for the night. We do not want guests being attacked on the journey home. We have enough rooms for everyone. Please make yourself at home here. You may leave in the morning. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, I do apologise deeply on this mishap and hope that you'll forgive my actions tonight. Good night." I announced as I stormed up the stairs.

I hurried off very quickly yet Lucas was beside me at all times. Then, we headed into the meeting room. Everyone arrived at the large meeting area with concerned looks and glares. Inside the clean peach room there was:

Isaac, Casey, Dmitri, Silvia, the elf, the mermaidian leaders and Lucas.

   "What did that ghost mean Felicity? You have powers?" Silvia questioned. I shrugged quickly as I had no idea myself.

"You all have powers." A harmonious voice answered. That voice belonged by the mermaidian queen. Her hair coated with seaweed, making the room smell fresh like the sea. Her intoxicated husband next to her. She then carried on talking as we continued to stare at her in disbelief.

"You all have powers, all different in skills. I myself have powers, I have the ability to know others powers, as well as knowing how people feel by their body language. Each one of you have powers yet only a few know their talents." She paused for a moment staring at everyone.

"Casey, you have the power of healing - not only do you have skill in potions of healing but you can also transform. Like taking someone else's identity for example." She said with her soothing voice.

"Dmitri has special powers, this includes the power of strength and protection. You have the willpower to hold a boulder in your hand or create force fields over anything/anyone." She continued.

"Now Silvia, you have a harder skill to learn. You are smart and also have an act for decorating. This is triggered by your power of telekinesis. You know where and when you want to move things due to it being wrong, this helps you decorate so well. Not only telekinesis but you can also have the ability to control minds." She paused with a delicate smile.

"Isaac you have the ultimate power of invisibility. You can completely disappear in any circumstance. You also have the power of control over plants and animals. Some animals are harder for you to control but most are easy to overpower. And plants that are controlled by you can become weapons, traps or even help protect others." She almost questioned what she said. 

"Eli, you have remarkable talents. You have skills to have x ray vision, to see through buildings even. Also illusion, you can trick enemies with illusions or soothe others with nice images. Whatever you conjure to picture." She nodded but then her face scrunched up, like she was trying to concentrate.

"Now, Lucas. You already know a power you have. Discovered when you were little, I presume?" His body tensed, she paused and then nodded.

"You have the power of speed, which you know. But your skin can also take form of the material you touch." She uttered without hesitance. Then she stopped talking, silence filled the room immediately. Everyone was confused, and thinking.

Then I spoke up, my voice cracking nervously as I asked, "What about my powers?" Everyone in the room immediately stopped and stared at the mermaidian queen.

"My queen, you have powers no one has ever had before. You can control all the elements with ease. You just need to learn them. Now my husband and I need some rest after the events that happened this evening. We thank you greatly for letting us stay and we shall trade with you if need be." She sighed as she grabbed her drunk husbands hand. They wobbled out of the tense room and disappeared from everyone's view.

I couldn't believe it. The elements. Fire, Water, Earth and Air. How? I'm just a fairy. I can't have these powers. Right? Everyone looked down in thought, wondering whether to believe it or not. I caught a glance from Lucas. I looked at him worriedly, his eyes looked pained, not as warm as they used to be.

"We all need to rest. We shall discuss this further in the morning. I think, for protection, that we sleep in twos. Silvia may go to Willow as she needs to be protected as well as ourselves. Casey and Dmitri. Isaac and Eli. Myself and Lucas. Sleep well. Night." I spoke quietly, making sure my voice wouldn't waver in front of them again. Everyone mumbled night as we dismissed ourselves.

I really hope you enjoyed this chapter. It took me a while to upload due to making up suitable powers and figuring out how to end it.

Well next chapters going to involve different POVs as this was all Felicity, again, I thank you a lot for reading and comment below who you want more 'shipping stuff' to happen - I really like Casey x Dmitri, so they'll be involved more.
