Nichole's Pov

I got back from school, bad day as usual and ran to my room. I heard there was a new black veil brides song so I was REALLY excited. I ran into my room running past my snobby sister in the process and slammed my door shut. I locked it behind me so my sister wouldn't walk in. I threw my bag next to my door and jumped onto my bed and opened my laptop. I looked up black veil brides and there it was, the new song that i have not heard of yet. I just new it would be amazing like the rest. I clicked on it and waited for it to load, then it played.

"I ruled the world, with these hands I shook, the heavens to the ground. I laid the gods, to rest. I held the key to the kingdom lions guarding castle walls, hail the king, of death. then I lost it all, dead and broken my, backs against the wall, cut me open I'm just tryin to breath just tryin to figure it out, because I built these walls to watch them crumbling down I said, then I lost it all, who can save me now".

Just as I thought, the song was amazing, it basically described my life. I loved it. After I listened to that a few more times I closed my laptop and stood up. I stretched and walked over to my backpack pulling out my homework. I finished that then walked to my door. I unlocked and opened it just to see my ticked off sister.

"you know you bumped into me right"she said.

she had a really bad attitude as usual.

"yup" I said with a smile.

she looked at me with hatred, I held in my laughter.

"I'm telling mom!" she yelled then stormed off. now I'm scared.

I slammed and locked my door.

I heard footsteps and curled up in a ball in the corner of my room.

"unlock the door you worthless emo"she said that and I could tell she had his fists clinched, ready to hit me.

"no mom don't hit me" I was crying and she new that, it didn't help at all though.

She punched the wall with not much force but the wood was weak, so it broke.

"no mom, leave me alone"! I screamed at her but he didn't care.

She grunted and unlocked the door through the whole in it and ran in. her fists were clunched like a thought.

"you bitch"! she yelled.

"your in for it now"! she said this with almost no emotion.

she hit me a few times but I didn't yell or cry during that, I always stopped crying when he could see my face, it just gave her pleasure.

once she stopped and left the room I bit my lip to stop from crying. I went back over to my laptop and checked my email, aperintly there's a black veil brides concert near me!!!!! oh my fucking god!!!!

I went downstairs after covering my scrapes and bruises from my dad. I saw my dad standing my the fridge do I went the other way. I saw my dad and smiled. I loved him so much.

"dad" I said grinning widely.

"yeah nicci"? he called me nicci, short for Nichole.

"well, you know that band I like, black veil brides"?

"what about them"? he said that with a frown, probably expecting this.

"they have a concert near hear, can I please go"? I said that like I was going to cry, but I wasn't.

"hunny I'm sorry, but you can't go. I already heard about this and new you would ask but you can't. I'm sorry. you have to stay home with your sister that night because me and your father are going out".he said that slowely knowing I would be upset.
