CHAPTER 3
"Who the frickilty frick does that ghost think she is?"
Catherine fumes with anger as she runs (well, Catherine's version of running) into her room and ferociously pulls out her headphones from her pocket. With a loud smash, she plugs the headphones into her ears and switches the volume to full. She feels like punching something and she grits her teeth as the first few beats of 'Run' by BTS fill the air.
As the song continues, her anger subsides and her tight grip on her phone loosens. She smiles without knowing, somehow the voice of V seems to heighten her spirits. Humming along, she stands up, dancing enthusiastically (well, Catherine's version of dancing). For what seems like hours, Catherine moves along with the rhythm. Soon enough, an Instereo song begins to play in her ears. The familiar tune, brings her to her Yr 7 days when she would eagerly wait for her favourite amateur boy band to play on Channel 7. Remembering what the damn ghost thing said, an unwanted thought flashes through her mind.
'What if I'm too obsessed?' But then Catherine slaps herself. "Shizzles! There's no way I'm too obsessed. I mean, it's healthy. Right?'
Suddenly, she realises that the music has stopped abruptly; so has her dancing (well Catherine's version of dancing)
"Ooohhhhohhhhh" A haunting monotone echoes through her bedroom.
BAM!
The ghost is staring at her once again.
"Remember Catherine, you have to choose, " the ghost's voice is sickly sweet.
Catherine's heart stops and all she can suddenly see is black.
