Reyansh
The morning breeze is just so cold in Delhi, it turns all the exposed body parts numb. But, jogging in morning before the sunrises gives me an awesome view of the various stages of sunrise. First, its a single ray of the Sun, and then a little semicircle is what comes to view which is soothing to the eyes, then a liitle more part of the sun comes into view dispersing the smog that develops due to smoke levels in this city. And after a short time the entire sun comes to view with its bright sun rays and heat, which is no more soothing to the naked eyes. Since my childhood, I have loved to see the sun rise into sky and the day begin with all the hustle bustle around. The sleeping , half-dead city surprisingly coming to life with all the honkings, songs, cars etc. Well, Delhi since the very beginning hasn't been the half dead city;yes, thats right, not even at nights. There has always been some amount of hustling. However, there is a little peace and silence; yes "very little" in this city, however it can never be called half dead. It's wildly known for it's night life; the discos, clubs, parties, loud music and stuff. It's also known for the number of cars we people own, the standard of living (yeah, in other words, show off karne ki aadat). Well, now it is now also known for its hazardous levels of smoke and pollution. However, whether known for good qualities or bad, I am still going to love this city because I was born here and I know the nook and corner around. Being the CEO of a company I have been to many continents, countries and cities, but this is the only city which ends up giving me homely feeling.
Anyways after the walk, I have a few days a week when I meet my friends. Alas! Today was not that day. It has been quite some days since I met them, for I was away in Milan,Italy for a conference with the Prime minister and the other nations. It was a conference on new technological changes we can encourage for "Digital India" and the foriegn investment limits which would be allowed in the telecom sector. If the limit is increased, it would be good for us;I am the Indian CEO of a foreign based mobile manufacturing company.
Today, not being the day to meet I just head towards my house and take a quick shower and head towards the kitchen and there on the platform is my plate of breakfast is placed and my glass of juice. I take it to my dining table and switch on the television and my mailbox on the phone. I have to check the news always , whenever I have time. The market forces make a great impact on the share prices of the company and I have to always be aware about the markets and the rise and falls. After I am done with mails and there is nothing that needs my attention, I switch my attention to the new channel. I have specific show to watch which actually gives me all the news in highlights which saves a lot of my time and I get updated with all the important national and international news. This show lasts for half an hour and I have my breakfast meanwhile.
Till now, you might have realised I don't really rush through my breakfast. That's really an important meal for me, because there are a few days where there is a lot of work pressure and don't really get time for lunch or placing it in a better way, a filling lunch.
