Into The Woods

We had walked a long way into the woods when we came upon another giant robot ant.

"Not again", I groaned.

"Ruby, shock it", the man told me.

"Once again, it's Sapphire. And fine. Daniel, if I'm not out in 3 minutes, come and get me", I said as I gave him the case.

"Oh great, I get the saving job", he mumbled.

"And don't complain."

With that, I ran, jumped ontothe things back, and shocked it.

"Done", I say when I walk back to meet them not even a minute later. I took back the case as we continued on.

A couple of minutes later, we came to the next obstacle. A giant sand pile to big to climb over.

"Daniel, your up", the man said.

"What can I do?", Daniel asked.

"Run to the top at full speed and then spin as fast as you can."

"Alright."

So he ran to the top at full speed, then stopped.

"Spin", the old man ordered.

Daniel nodded. Then he started to spin.

"Wow", I said in awe.

Daniel had become a miny tornado. When he stopped spinning, all the sand had been blown to the sides.

"Awesome", he said as we continued on.

The next obstacle was a huge ravine.

"So, who's up next?", Billy asked, not really wanting to know.

"You", said the man. Was his voice getting higher?

"Why me? I don't even have powers like the to of them", he stated, pointing at Daniel and I.

"Yes you do", the man said. I was right. His voice is getting higher.

"Ok. What do I do", Billy said, sounding defeated.

"Just touch the ground but the ravine and think about what you want to happen." Now the man was starting to look different, too.

"Ok." So Billy went by the ravine and did what he was told.

A tree grew from the other side to him, making a bridge.

"Good", the man said. And with that, we continued on.

As we were walking, we came to a huge river, too deep to cross.

"Can I ask who's next?", Maddie asked bitterly, "Me."

"You are correct", I hear and when I looked over, standing in the spot where the old man was, is a beautiful womanwith long black hair and a white dress that went down to her feet. In other words, she litraly looks like an Egyptian goddess.

"Um, that's freaky deaky", I said really freaked out.

"This is my true form. I can't be like this in public because it would frighten people", she explained. "Now, I have a question. What does 'freaky deaky' mean?"

"Uh, it's my way of say freaky", I said, trying to partaly hide behind Jason.

I suddenly see a shadow out of the corner of my eye. But when I turn to face it, its gone. What was that?

"So, what do I do?", Maddie asked, breaking my train of thought.

"Just imaginewhat you want to happen and use your new power"

"Ok." She closed her eyes and then the water split.

"Wicked", I mumbled, earning a strange look from the lady.

"Lets go", Jason said, and we left, me still trying to hide.

The next (and what I'm hoping is the last) obstacle was a giant pile of snow that was very slippery.

"Do you want me to clear it again?", Daniel asked.

"No, it's Jasons turn."

"I know what to do, so don't tell me."

"Alright, do it."

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he opened his eyes and thrusted his hands out. Fire shot from his hands, melting the snow.

"Good. You have all done well", the lady told us.
