Um...hi...
uh I feel really awkward now...sorry about all the things...taking two years to make a chapter three is killing me so...uh yeah...I don't know how many chapters this is going to have until it's over. It's going to be kind of awkward for me since I've left this fandom but, I refuse to leave another book. The updates will be slow and awkward while I get back into writing fanfics. But, I will be finishing this book! I'm starting this at a weird time because I have finals this coming week but writing is how I deal with stress sooo...

Ty's POV
A throbbing in my head brought me from my slumber. I groggily reached for my bedside lamp to turn on the light when I noticed that my room was already as bright as day. I yawned and stretched. Someone gasped and I was instantly on alert, who was in my room? Looking around, with bleary eyes, I spotted two figures facing away from me. Yawning again, I slowly slid my hand underneath my pillow to grab my sword.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Ty." One of the two spoke. I immediately withdrew my hand when I recognized the voice.
"Jason? What are you doing in here?" I asked, rubbing my eyes, hoping to be able to see better, "and why is it so bright in here? Can we turn off a light or something?" Jason and the other person shared a look,
"Ty?"
"Yeah?"
"It's pitch black in here, it's the middle of the night." I immediately shot up. They couldn't be right, I can't see in the dark. That's...that's impossible! I haven't been able to see in the dark since...no, that can't be the reason. There must be some mistake!
"Ty?" The other voice -who I now recognized as Seto- spoke, bringing me out of my thoughts, "why are your eyes glowing? And why are your teeth sharper than Jerome's?" he asked. Glowing eyes? Oh no, that must mean that it's happening again! I immediately stood up and rushed to the door before being stopped by Seto and Jason.
"Where are you going?" I quickly decided that, since they were my closest friends, I could tell them anything and they wouldn't rat me out. But I needed to hurry before it started, otherwise the entire sky army would be at my room in a split second.
"Just...follow me, and don't say anything." I left them behind me, and walked towards the nearest window. They nodded to each other and followed me.
Where are we going? I sighed, of course Seto would use telepathy to talk.
Just hang on a second. I quietly opened the window and swung my leg over the edge before I was stopped by a hand on my shoulder. Looking over, I saw that it was Jason's hand.
What are you doing?! I shoved his hand off,
You'll see if you follow me. They glanced at one another and I swung my other leg over, now sitting on the window ledge. Seto and Jason followed my lead, sitting on the window ledge to the left and right of me. They looked skeptical of what I was doing, I rolled my eyes and pointed down to the ground where there was a pool of water.
You know we can't see anything, right? It's pitch black for us. I sighed, I'd forgotten about that.
There's a pool of water down there, just fall straight and don't move. Without another word, I pushed myself off the ledge and plummeted towards the water. I could hear Seto's cloak flapping in the wind and the wind whistling through Jason's suit. A split second later, I was submerged into the cold water. Getting out quickly, I watched Jason and Seto land and get out. I motioned then to follow me, then realized they couldn't see me.
Seto, do you have any potions of night vision on you?
Don't worry, we drank them before we jumped.
So, you guys didn't trust me?
We trusted you! We just wanted to see where we were falling so we wouldn't miss it.
Fair point. I nodded and walked away from them and towards a certain stone slab in the garden, I lifted it up, revealing a lever. Seto walked over and I motioned for him to pull the lever as I walked over to a section of brick on the building.
Pull the lever and then cover it back up.
Seto complied and quickly did what I asked. The brick I was standing in front of slid open, I rushed inside and deactivated the alarm. Then, I motioned for Seto and Jason to follow me as the door closed. We started our decent down old cobblestone stairs. Into a darkness that even my eyes couldn't see through. The walls slowly changed from brick to stone to obsidian.
"We can talk now, these walls are completely soundproof." I said to them.
"So, Ty, care to tell us where we're going?" Jason asked.
"Well, it's a long story and I think it'll be easier to just show you-" a sharp pain in my back made me stop in my tracks. I breathed quickly and shallowly with my eyes clenched shut.
"Ty? Ty! TY!" I heard them yelling my name and I remembered that we weren't in the room yet. We weren't safe from being heard yet. I took a deeper breath as the pain faded.
"S-sorry..." I rasped, "we need to get to the room before I explain what that was." They nodded and I started running to the room, them keeping up with me, effortlessly. When we got to the room I used my hand on the scanner and the door opened. We walked in and the door sealed behind us.
"Okay, Ty, what the hell was that?!" Jason exclaimed. I opened my mouth to answer but instead, I screamed when a stab of pain in my back caused me to collapse. They both immediately rushed over to me. The pain was unending, unyielding, and unforgiving. I continuously screamed as my back felt like it was being torn up from the inside out. Jason and Seto started freaking out, I couldn't hear a word they were saying over the white noise that my screams became. The pain suddenly stopped and I took deep, gasping breaths.
"Ty?! Are you okay?!" That's all they were saying but I knew it wasn't over so I decided to explain as much as I could, telepathically.
Don't worry about that, it's okay, that's always the most painful. There's still more to come, and I have a feeling He will make it even more painful than it has to be.
Who?
Him. Then the pain started again, this time in my eyes, hands, forearms and tailbone. The pain was much worse than it should have been, I could feel my eyes rolling back in my head as the pain was too great. It became a white hot burning as it reached the peak. I remember screaming one last thing to them as I passed out.

Alright! Well, that's is something full of cringe, cringe and more cringe! But I hope you guys liked this! As I said at the beginning, I will be finishing this book...eventually... And I will make sure that I don't leave it sitting for two years and three weeks ever again...sorry about that...

Anyways, THANK YOU GUYS so much for reading! If you liked this chapter or are happy I'm back, please like this chapter and comment on anything I can fix or just go ham on roleplaying the f**k out of this!

I'll see all you guys, in the next chapter!
