“Hey, back off!” You said as a pond of fan girls began to overflow.  How can so many girls have such determination and hope that any of these attractive blood-suckers will actually fall for them? These school girls never listen to you or Yuki, only Zero. It’s probably because he’s got more intimidation than most people. You turn your head around to see Yuki blowing all the air in her lungs into the whistle to round up the crowd and Zero just stands so cool, throwing sharp glares occasionally.

You hear the doors begin to open and you turn back around back into your concentration. The girls become wilder and tried their best to reach out to the Night Class Students. Aido throws his appreciation to his fans, blows kisses and being his own cocky self. You roll your eyes and he looks straight at you.

“Emalia! How have you been? Missed me while I was gone?” he grins effortlessly. You look away in annoyance and purse your lips.

“I’m good, but I’ll be better once you’re out of my sight.” Hanabusa furrows his brows and begins to look frustrated.

“Damn brat,” he says under his breath as he leaves. You hear all the girls screaming the day class names

            “Kaname!”

            “Kain!”

            “Shiki!”

            “Takuma!”

            “RUKA!!!”

You roll your eyes and feel a hand on your shoulder. You turn around to see Kaname with a small smile.

“Kaname?” you ask as millions of girls boil with envy.

“You’re doing a great job,” he says as you focus on his eyes. You bow and thank him as he leaves for class and turn back around to see Zero secretly watching you behind the riot of school girls. You shake your head and went back into your duty.

“Everyone get your butts back to your dorms before I kick them back myself!”

As the sun sunk, you reach down to your gun pocket strapped to your leg to prepare for your night job on campus. You realize it’s not there and become a little frustrated when you found out you had to run back to get what you need.

“Are you sure you’ll be ok, Yuki?” you ask.

“I’ll be perfectly fine, thanks me,” she smiles her cheerful smile and you smile back but wonder where Zero had gone. You were about to ask Yuki, but there was no time.  You had a job to do and Zero was probably already on patrol. As you run back to your dorm, you hear rustling in the trees. It could be the wind so you continue until you hear a twig break near you. You come to a stop and looked around yourself, ready for a fight. When you feel someone reaching for your hand, you turn quickly and swung your other arm with a steel fist. You felt a cheekbone and realized it was Aido when you actually looked back. He drew back, bracing his face.

You felt sorry, but angry for being startled in the first place.

“Ow, you really hit like a guy. Why’d you go that far?!” he yells.

“Well geez, I’m not the stalker, am I?” You hear a gun getting ready behind you when you were about to apologize.

“Out for blood? You’re repulsive.” Zero says, ready to shoot. “What are you doing here? You should be in class, not sneaking a drink.”

“I just wanted to say something to Emalia ok!” Aido exclaims as he freezes Zero’s hand and gun. Zero is flustered and impatient to kill. You are confused and thinking that guys are overrated, but glad that Zero is here.

“Ok, you both need to get over yourselves,” you say calmly. You were always good at hiding your emotions and never bringing your hopes up. You walk away from Aido, onto your dorm room, passing Zero with a blush traveling to your cheeks. You hear ice break and Aido leaving. You wonder what it was Aido had to say.

“Emalia,” Zero says as he walks faster to catch up to you. “Emalia, are you alright?”

You continue to walk and manage to break out with some sarcasm. “No, I broke my ankle and I’m losing blood. Of course I’m fine!”

Zero pauses a moment. “I just wanted to ask because… I don’t like to see people I care about get hurt.” Your heart races and you care and you want to hug him and appreciate his openness. But you don’t. You walk on further to your dorm because you can’t allow vulnerability.

Zero: She’s intimidating a little and so secretive. I wish we were more open with each other. One day I’ll break that wall of hers and tell her how I feel. She’s the only one I’m confident about.

Yuki: She’s so amazing! I wish I had her confidence and strength! She’s so sweet though until you tick her off, but that’s understandable. Emalia is so pretty though…I could see why Zero likes her company so much!

Headmaster Cross: She’s really sarcastic and closed off. I don’t know her well, but she appears to be a great student nonetheless.

Toga: pet, don’t know her don’t care. Zero’s got a soft spot for her though.

Kaname: She doesn’t know it, but she’s admired a lot by everyone around her, even me. She’s strong and holds a mysterious charm that can captivate almost anyone. She does boil Aido’s blood though.

Shiki: I wouldn’t mind sharing some Pocky with her.

Takuma: She might appear a little rough, but she’s sweet. I’ve spoken to her sometimes and she’s really down to earth. One time this fan girl almost ambushed me and she saved my life! She’s a one of a kind, but I think she already likes someone.

Aido: She’s so hard to get to. Whenever I come around, Zero is always behind her like a secret bodyguard. Maybe she does like me and doesn’t want to admit it. I’m determined to pursue her though, probably better than that stupid vampire hunter Zero

Rima: Shiki likes her so I guess I like her, too.

Ruka: She’s…. She’s alright. It’s whatever.

Kain: She’s cool. She knows how to push Aido’s buttons and can actually enforce her words through action as well. Aido might not know it, but it’s obvious she’s got a small thing for Zero.
