Chapter 2 - The Gift Of Exploration

~ Day 2 ~
~ Monday ~

ETHAN'S POV:

I was awoken by Grayson jumping on me and shouting, I could see he was snapchatting it. Thankfully he had already made breakfast. Bacon and eggs. Today was Monday, which meant we get to film a video for our YouTube channel as we haven't filmed one yet. This always excites me. But first we get to take Bella hiking. Bella is a girl we met at the coffee place yesterday. She was lovely, very unique. Not to mention she was unusually pretty. Well in my opinion she was. I'd love to have an new British friend.

"We're taking her hiking right?" Grayson asked me as we were finishing breakfast.

"Yeah we'll take her up the forest trail that leads up to the mountain." I nodded. "She'll love the view." I say hopefully.

Grayson poked out his bottom lip and shook his head and then smirked. "Right." He smiled cheekily.

"What?" I sigh.

"What do you mean what?" Grayson tried to hide a mocking smile.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I snap.

"You really thought about this didn't you?" Grayson asked as he put his plate in the dishwasher.

"Thought about what?" I said nonchalantly.

"You know what about." He pushed the side of my head playfully.

"Dude. Stop." I say pushing him away, slightly laughing. "When was the last we made a new friend? Ages ago. She seemed pretty nice. And she loves adventure, like us, so why not." I shrugged as I also put my plate in the dishwasher. Grayson was leaning on the kitchen counter.

"That's very true." Grayson nodded. "So...." He hit his hands on the counter.

"Sooo what?" I asked as I switched the dishwasher on.

"Do you think she's pretty?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Gray. That's a really pointless questi-"

"Ha! You do! I knew it!" Grayson clapped his hands together and laughed.

"Okay okay. I admit I find her a bit-"

"A bit?"

"Okay quite a bit, attractive. But come on so do you." I shrugged in my defence.

"Yeah she's pretty. But she's more your type." Grayson smiled and made his way to his room.

"Hey. We've only just met her, you don't know that! She'll just be a friend, bro." I shouted after him.

"I'm just teasing you." Grayson shouted and then closed his bedroom door. I rolled my eyes and took out my phone and started typing a text.

Hey Bella, we'll be outside your hotel at 11am, so you have an hour to prepare yourself for exploration. Bring lots of water and possibly some snacks. Oh and wear some trainers.

BELLA'S POV:

"Stop knocking! It's not going to make me hurry up!" I yelled. I had just finished taking a shower and Asher was impatiently banging on the bathroom door.

"Come on. You take years!" Asher complained.

I ignored him and changed into my denim shorts and a dark red crop top. I felt pretty much naked but I was still getting used to the heat. I was also still getting used to not wearing skinny jeans and a hoodie everyday. I unlocked the door and Asher pushed passed me and slammed it back in my face.
