The bad boy is my mate

ch 1~

You would think that turning 18 would be some kind of amazing experience for you to share with your mate and pack, an excuse to have some amazingly wicked party where you get trashed and have the time of your lives, but for me it was just like every other day. It just means that it is 3 years since i turned 16 which is the age where you are finally able to meet your mate. For some werewolves they meet their mate as soon as they turn 16, but for some (like me) it can be years afterwords until we meet our other half, out soul mate, if we meet them at all. There has been some instances where the werewolves have never met their mate, i just hope i'm not like that. 

Getting back to the point at hand, I'm currently getting dressed up for a party that i don't even particularly want with my best friends Sasha and scarlet, who also happens to be twins, but a party is something i have to have considering I'm the only child of the alpha of the strongest pack in the world, and i don't want to upset my dad as he was so excited about it. Yes, I'm a daddy's girl, if you don't like it then fuck off. My dad's all i have as my mom was killed in a battle against rouges 8 years ago, ever since then when my dad lost the love of his life he hasn't been lenient with any rouges that cross our territory without his permission. Once my hair was curled to perfection and my eye liner was put on heavily around my eyes i finally got into my dress. The dress i was wearing for the party/gathering is a purple embellished cut out one shoulder dress, but instead of wearing heels with it like any normal person i am going to wear my studded pair of combat boots with the laces at the front loose. As you might have guessed i'm not exactly girly girl and this completes my look nicely. Now would probably be a good time to tell you more about myself, as you know i turned 18 today, i havn't  found my mate yet, I'm the only daughter of the strongest alpha of the strongest pack ever, my moms dead, my full name is Lexi Blaze Reynolds, i'm 5 ft 4, i have a mixture between bright green eyes and a kind of lapis lazuli blue and my hair that reaches my mid back is jet black with blue and purple highlights making it stand out.  Once I'm finished getting ready i notice that Sasha who has naturally curly blonde hair that is just a bit shorter than mine is wearing a creme embellished strappy dress with silver glitter platform shoes, and Scarlet or Scar as we call her who has long Bright red hair is wearing a black cut out embellished halter neck dress with black diamante slingback platforms. Those 2 are gonna give their mates heart attacks when they see them in a little while, yes both Sasha and scarlet have met their mates, scarlet's mates name is Ryan and Sasha's mates name is Dillon and they are both excellent members of the pack.

I'm knocked out of my thoughts when i hear Sasha say "Lex, did you hear about the new kid who moved into town, well he's a werewolf and i heard that he was speaking to your dad earlier today about joining the pack and i heard that apparently he's going to be joining it tonight at your party so there are enough witnesses. I don't know how true this is but i also heard that he's been in a shitload of fights and even been arrested a few times.  "Great" i say "just what we need, a delinquent running around the place, he best not cause any trouble tonight or i'll rip his goddamn balls of and shove them down his throat!!."  "And on that note" Sasha quickly says " at least there are other packs from other territories coming to your party tonight, maybe you might find your mate in one of them."  "Yeah" i say after letting out a big sigh " but i don't hold any hopes, i mean it's already taken me this long, maybe i'll just be one of the few wolves who doesn't ever find their mate."  Once the girls have both finished doing their make up they both grab their jackets while i grab my leather jacket, with that done we all head to the stairs and make our way down to meet the rest of our close friends in the living room.  And yes, as soon as Ryan and Dillon see their mates their eyes about pop out of their sockets and their mouths are left agape.  Chuckling lightly at the two of them i say "Ry, Dill, you might wanna close your mouth, unless of course you want to catch a fly, then by all mans leave it wide open." With that, both of their mouths close with a resounding snap both sending a playful glare my way. 

Chuckling even more at their antics, i turn to my other friends to say hi. Me being the Alphas daughter and only child means i'm friendly to everyone in the pack, but their are some that i'm closest to and hang out with more and they are : Shawnee and her mate Jake, Zoe and her mate Ash, Lena and her mate Drake, Holly, Shane, Justin, Heath, Leila, Lissa and Ian. 

Once i have said hi to all of my friends we all head out to massive garden where the party is being held, as my father wanted me to be their early in order to kinda be like the high school welcoming committee for new students, greeting all the visiting packs and the other guests alongside my father, and as my friends are the greatest they decided to all come along earlier to help out. Heading to the bar to grab a drink before the guests start to arrive, i order a bottle of beer for me and my dad as my friends each order their own drinks, with that done and the driveway quickly filling up with the guests cars we head over to my dad, handing him one of the beers i take swig out of mine as the first guests start their way up to where we were all standing. When all of the guests have arrived except for that new kid that was apparently coming tonight i'm finally able to go and enjoy the party.  Going over to the speakers and turning them up a bit as 'In the End' by Black Veil Brides comes on i head over to the gang (my friends) after grabbing another beer from the bar. For a while me and the gang laugh, dance, drink and generally have a good time until my father gets onto the stage and requests silence, knowing this is the part where i Will have to go over onto the stage me and the gang silently walk over to it so that were standing over the stairs, with his announcements done he finally calls me up to the stage, knowing there's no possible way out of it i silently walk up the steps and over to my dad, standing by his side as he wraps an arm around my waist ans says into the microphone "First i would like to thank you all for coming to this special celebration, as you all know my daughter Lexi turns 18 today and i would like you all to wish her a happy birthday" pausing for  a moment as everyone shouts a 'Happy Birthday Lexi' he smiles and continues "you all know that her mother and my mate was killed  8 years ago i would just like to say that she would be so proud of you baby girl, with how you turned out and with how beautiful you are. I know that you still havn't found your mate yet but know that you will soon. And as you passed your driving test that you finally got round to taking the other day i got you a little something, hers your birthday presents baby girl, well at least 2 of them any way" with that said he looks towards the driveway, looking at him confused for a moment i finally follow his lead and look towards the driveway just as a beautiful black with purple detailing on the sides 2008 Chevrolet camaro pulls onto the driveway, just as that pulls up a beautiful black and cherry red Harley Davidson pulls alongside it. Noticing that it is Ryan getting out of the camaro and Dillon getting off the bike, i stand there slightly confused as they both walk up to the stage and each hand me a pair of keys to the each of the vehicle's, looking again towards my dad he quietly says " i now how much you love those 2 and i couldn't decide which one to get you so i just got them both, happy birthday angel." Squealing like a little girl i launch myself at my dad and give him the biggest hug ever whilst saying " you are way the best dad ever, i love you daddy, and thank you for the party."  "It's okay baby girl, anything for you" he replies quietly. letting go of dad i turn to the now chuckling audience and say into the microphone "i know dads already said this, but as it's my party i would like to say thank you all for taking time out of your busy lives to come and celebrate this day with me, and i hope you all continue to have fun"  smiling widely at everyone in the audience, i spot someone standing slightly off to the side and looking down, and as i don't recognize this guy i know that this must be the new bad boy of the town, and soon to be member of the pack, as though he can feel my eyes on him he suddenly looks up and my eyes lock onto the most startling shade of green i have ever seen and my wolf suddenly shouts out "MATE."Finally, i think to myself, i found my mate the only problem is he's the new delinquent bad boy of the pack.
