This is one of my photos I took at the Gatton Heavy Horse Show in Gatton, Queensland, Australia.
On the day they run a competition where these Blacksmiths/Farriers have a certain amount of time to shoe a Clydesdale Horse. In my photo the Farrier sits the shoe on the Clydesdales foot to see if it fits. Because, the metal shoe is still hot it burns the hoof creating the smoke. It's no where near as painful as it sounds.
As of tonight, I'm an official member of a camera club that I've joined
