Rogues room was all dark wood. The door, the bed, the closet. The room drowned in darkness. Her very bright green blanket on the bed, was what gave the room a little colour. I was laying on her light green blanket, when she came in to the room.

"D' you know what Logan just told me?" She asked, as soon as she'd shut the door. I sat up in her bed and awaited her answer to her own question. "Theres a mutant out there who has made a serum that can tranform a human perfectly into a mutant. He is threatening the government with it. He thinks it can stop the war between mutants and humans, cuz if they're like us, they'll understand... isn't that crazy? The humans would just use the powers as a weapon against us." she said all out of breath and sat down on the bed beside me. "Humans are already a dying specie, I've heard there're more mutant born babies than human born now a days." I said calmly, not really affected by the news. I adored the mutants, more than I was scared of them. They'd never done anything to me, only been kind, if only the rest of the world would be kind to them.

"You don't seem scared at all. What if someone injected the serum in you?" She laid down on the bed and looked at me with serious eyes. "You know... I don't think I'd mind it that much... There's no shame of being a mutant. I'm already an outsider, but I don't have abilities as the reason for that." I said slowly, afraid of her response. I was part of the dying human specie. The outragous dying specie, and right now it seemed as if mutants was the future. I'd met kinder mutants than humans in my life. I definitely would be mutant and proud.

"Y/N you do know that we're the outcasts of the world... It's not easy, but of course you wouldn't know." Her index finger began to twirl her hair, as she lost her mind to her thoughts. "Yeah sorry, I know it hasn't been easy for you. But you still have me." She looked into my eyes, and send me a warm smile.

"They're trying to find the mutant, and talk him out of it. That would be the best for all of us." She said, looking at the ceiling. I gazed out the window, and noticed the sky had turned darker, as the night had begun to fall. I checked my watch to see that it was almost 9 pm. "I really don't want to leave, but it's pretty late now. I have to get home." She pouted her lips, and got off the bed. "it's okay, I'll find my way out." I told her, not wanting to bother her. "Okay, I'm tired anyway. You know where the door is." She winked at me and sat down on the bed again. "See you sometime, hope you figure it out with that mutant." I smiled at her and found my way out her room.

There was very crowded in the corridors, as many of the mutants properbly was heading to their room. I wasn't pleased to think of the bustrip home, as I was very tired, and just wanted my bed. I just wanted to disappear in my duvet, and not to think of what I had to go through at school next day. Get lost in my dreams as I slept.

The crowd died down, as I went down another corridor, and down the wide staircase. I could here some kids laughing in the kitchen, but otherwise the place seemed quiet. As I had gotten down the staircase I heard a BAMF, and was shocked to find a familiar blue guy, right in front of me, surrounded by smoke.

"Jeez I thought I'd told you not to do that." My heart was pounding for many reasons, I felt like I'd just run a marathon. "I'm so sorry... habit. I just saw you come down zee stairs, and I wanted to say hi before you left." He said grinning. "Yeah you did promise me, I would see you again. But it's so late now, I have to go. I have school tomorrow." His smile died down, and he looked like he was lost in thought. "I could follow you home?" He said, his smile back on his face. "I'm taking the bus home, sorry..." My heart almost dropped as his smile did. "But you could follow me out?" I noticed his tail began to wag, and figured it must be something he did whenever he was happy. "I would like that." He said, and followed me to the door.

Out in the summer night air, you could see the stairs forming in the sky. I could feel Kurts tail circling my back, as if he was guiding me forward. "I've been zinking about was you said to me last time you were here." He started. I looked at him, and saw how beautifully his eyes shone like gold in the dark, while his dark blue colour, blended in with the night. He noticed me staring, and I gave him a reassuring smile. "I don't zink people look at me cuz zey zink I'm... beautiful. People are scared of me, I know zat. But it means alot to hear someone say was you said." We were now out on the street, and I looked behind me, to see the mansion slowly disappearing out of sight. "Maybe people are scared of you, but they can't deny that you're beautiful." "I'm not... beautiful." He said shyly, avoiding my gaze. I grinned at him, amazed that he couldn't see his own beauty. "You are! Beauty is so much more than nude skin, and 10 fingers." I said. He smiled to himself, not really looking at me. "Where is this busstop? I've never used it." He asked changing the subject. "By the end of this road. It should be here in a 5 minutes time." He didn't answer, only nodded. The silence didn't last long before Kurt said; "how is it? To look normal, and go to a normal school?" I didn't have to think long, for an answer. "Not any better than being a mutant. I'm just as much an outsider, as you. I don't really have anything in common with the kids in my class, they're a bunch of hypocrites." "Doesn't sound any zee better. You can always come here, if you need someone to talk to." He finally looked at me, now with a big smile on his face, that I returned. "Next time, come visit me. I wouldn't mind your company." He said. I could feel his tail, now playing with the tips of my hair. I couldn't help but smile. "I wouldn't mind visiting you either. I hope Rogue won't be too jealous." "Rogue? Why would she be jealous of you?" He asked confused. "I think she would more likely be jealous of you, that she's not the one I'll be visiting." I grinned at him.

We were finally at the busstop, just in time for the bus to come. "Come by the mansion in the weekend. I'll find you there." He said. I faced him, and had to crane my neck, to look directly up into his eyes. He was so close, it made my mind all fusy, for some reason... I quickly leaned in to kiss the blue skin of his cheek, and was able to smell the soft sweet smell of his silhouette. I got on the bus, without looking back, and sat down on nearest seat. When I looked out the window, all I saw was two bewildered golden eyes.
