Alone at night we sit and cry
Staring at stars our eyes filled with pain
As we wonder what we'd ever done to deserve this hell that we live,
And think about going home
To the place where no one is judged or mistreated
The place we can be who we are
Without fears of bullies or jerks.
We take the blade and press it down
Whimpering slightly from the initial sting
Until the pain leaves replaced with joy at the thougt of going home.
Of seeing all our loved ones that we had lost
And being able to hear their voices one more time.
We drag the blade across our wrists....
One.....two.....three.....four....and many more
And let our screams fill the air, spreading through out the house
Our blood drips onto the bathroom floor
And it fills us with relief
At the thought of going home
We sit and cry our eyes out
Until at least we fall onto our backs
Sticky red blood covered hands at our side
Our breathing slows, our eyes they cloud
As we start to hear the angels sing
Their song of joy and praise
We smile as we look around
This place so beautiful
They welcome you with open arms
And say you've made it home.
But while you're there all smug and cozy
Your bodys found on earth.
Your mother screams and cries and curses
But your father stares in shock
The realization that they'll never see their baby again is in their minds
Your brother or sister come and see but run back to their room in tears
The one they'd looked up to, their hero, their role model
Or the one they'd tried to protect with their life.
Was long gone and never coming back
They stay in their room for weeks, maybe months
Just wanting to have you back
Your parents cant look at each other
Without pain in their eyes, as they see you in themselves
And they soon divorce
Torn apart with their grief
So while yournpain has ended
Its started for others
Your family, friends, classmates, and teachers
They'll all carry grief and guilt that they hadnt helped you
The pain that you'd held for so long
Has spread like a wildfire
Towards the ones that you knew and had loved
But soon they'll also come home
And then the cycle will repeat
