"Issac, I'm going out!" I yell as I grab my purse and walk out the door.

My brother pokes his head out before I got into the car. "Hey, can you grab milk before coming back? We're almost out."

I grin and nod, hopping into the car. I start up the engine and role out of the driveway. I head south onto the interstate, heading towards my job, which happens to be a crappy shaved ice shop. I'm only seventeen and wasn't out of high school. With my parent's reputation, I was lucky to get a job at all.

Suddenly there was a loud boom. Cars ahead of me swerve and I panic, running into the side of the road.

In a scary moment, I realize a fourth of my car is hanging off the side. Below was a river. I try unbuckling my seatbelt, but can't get it to unlock.

I hear gunshots and people screaming, as well as car wheels screeching. I look out the passenger side window, towards the river, and see a big cloud of smoke in the distance.

From documentaries I watched with my brother, I knew what it was.

A nuke. A nuke exploded in California. Was this a terrorist attack, or a war?

I look out the other window, where the screams came from. I see a wave of smoke, possibly from guns or grenades. I hear more popping noises and explosions.

I struggle harder to unlatch my belt, but then a shadow falls across my lap. In fear, I slowly look out my window again. I see a face, grinning at me. The man has what looks like blood running down his face, but no visible wounds were present. He was wearing a black uniform with the words 'Enclave' written on them.

I try backing away, but with my seatbelt still on I can't move.

I start to tear up. Is this the end? I only had four months of school left before I could graduate. My eighteenth birthday was in five days. This couldn't really be the end, could it?

The man gestures to unseen figures in the smoke, and five more people come out. They start pushing my car, and at first I wasn't sure what they were doing. Then I realized they were trying to push me off the edge.

I didn't know what to do. I froze, my muscles tensing and my eyes were stuck on the six soldiers about to murder me.

The car rocks, and I scream. I try pulling on the seatbelt again, but it was too late. My car tipped and fell towards the water.

I was so shocked I couldn't even scream as my car started filling with water. It smelled different than normal waster, like it was filled with... Gasoline?!

"No, no, no, no!" I sob, pushing the window. In a final desperation before all of the air was drained out. I try rolling the window, but that just makes the water come in faster.

My car sinks slowly to the bottom of the river, with me still inside. My vision starts to go fuzzy, but before I black out everything above me is lit up, except for one spot in the shape of a man.

A/N

Hey, guys! Welcome to my book! I promise to finish this one no matter what this time! So, onto disclaimers!

I do not own Fallout, nor NewScapePro's Minecraft roleplay of it. I am simply taking a part of NewScapePro's plot and a few of his actors! (I'm sure they won't mind. I've definitly seen worse fanfics of them)

Also, if you don't know what Fallout is, or who NewScapePro is, that is fine! Since my book will be almost completely different, you don't have to worry about spoilers! This is just AJ's version of events.
