Last Farewell

Chapter 2

Irene's P.O.V
It was 9 am and I am watching netflix in my room when my mom knocked on my door. "Hi mom, what's up?" I asked while lowering the volume of the tv.

"Morning sweetie, is your sister awake yet?" she asked " mom you know Alex doesn't wake up at nine" I said returning my gaze to the movie.

"Go and wake her up then, your father and I will be gone for a while and we wanted to spend time with you before we go" my mom said, I sighed "Okay but if im not in the kitchen in 10 minutes, please rescue me!!!" I pleaded and she just laughed and went to the kitchen.

I groaned and stood up to wake my sister. I love her to death but waking her up is terrifying, trust me she needs her sleep. As I'm standing in front of her door, I'm contemplating on whether I should go in or just say she wont wake up..... whatever I'm going.

"Lord please protect me" I said silently and went inside. I lifted her blanket off her head and saw that she was still asleep "Alex, wake up" I said shaking her shoulders a couple of times and she wouldn't even budge.

I then tried poking her "Are you dead?" when she still wouldn't wake up, I tried whacking her with a pillow which was a mistake cause her hand suddenly hit my face and nothing worked.

"I'm going to regret this so much" I groaned as I stood up on her bed and I started jumping on her bed while screaming "wake up!!!". I didn't notice her grabbing the pillow beside her and she threw it at me, when it hit my face I lost my balance and fell butt first on the floor, and let me tell you it freaking hurts.

I then heard Alex laugh uncrontrolably, well atleast she is awake and not grumpy, I thought to myself. "Let it all out Alex" I said glaring at her, as I rubbed my butt,  but she still contineud to laugh "get up Alex, mom and dad are leaving again, and they wanted to spend time together" I said standing up.

"ok ok let me just wash my face, brush my teeth and i'll be down" she said still laughing and I just rolled my eyes but smiled anyways "meet us at the kitchen" I said to her and went out of her room and went to the kitchen.

Alexandria's P.O.V

I waited until Irene went out before I went to the bathroom to freshen up. I went inside my bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth and combed my hair. Before I went outside, I put my hair up in a bun and arranged my bed.

When I arrived at the kitchen I saw my parents and I kissed my mom and hugged my dad "Good morning parents" I said as I grabbed an apple (which is already washed) and took a bite. "Good morning dear" dad said "How's your butt Irene?" I asked her while chuckling.

"What?" mom asked " Alex pushed me from the bed and I fell on the floor" Irene said glaring at me "So, where are you and mom going dad?" Irene asked "Well Jade, Angela and your mom are going to be launching their clothing line in Australia and they will be doing interviews while Clyde, Marvin and I will be going to Scotland for a meeting about our company and we will be checking our wine company. We will be gone for atleast 5 to 6 days." dad explained.

"What are we doing today then?" I asked "Maybe a movie marathon in the movie room?" Mom suggested knowingly "yes!" Irene and I screamed together and we high-fived. Mom and Dad just laughed, I then stood up to throw away my already finished apple "Lets go then"dad said.

Our parents are down to earth, people think we dont hang out as a family because our parents are very well-known in the industry and that they are always busy, but we are family oriented and we spend time together as much as possible.
