There were machines beeping somewhere close and I was surrounded by people, a few of which holding me down. My vision was blurred and I couldn't feel anything so I couldn't figure out why, scared I began to call out but no sound came out. I could hear someone crying but I couldn't tell who, I tried to look in their direction but I couldn't see there was too many people. ~ He was sitting next to my bed holding my hand as I opened my eyes, he looked up at me with tears in his eyes, "Hailee..?", he asked before his eyes opened wide. "OH MY GOD YOU'RE AWAKE!!", he beamed wrapping his arms around me making me wince in pain. He pulled back before I could hug him back, "Sorry let me go tell the doctor you're awake.", he smiled, "Don't worry I'll be right back I love you.", he smiled, quickly hugging me again kissing me and running out of the room.

I was woken up the next morning by Aliyson shaking my shoulder, "Hailee! Haileeee! Wake uppp!", she whined, "What is it Ali?", I groan opening my eyes. "Mom wants you..", she mumbled. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, "Okay thanks Ali.", I smile, "But can you not shake me awake next time?", I laugh pulling her into my arms, "Okay bear", she giggled wrapping her arms around me. I put her down and kiss her forehead as I make my way downstairs with Aliyson following me, when I step into the kitchen I see mother standing at the table looking through her bag. "You wanted me?", I ask walking over and getting a cup of coffee, "Yeah I've got work today so you need to watch your siblings. I'll be back around sevenish so I'll leave you money for you guys to order out dinner.", she stated not looking up. She pulled out her wallet and handed me a twenty, "This should cover dinner, only call me if someone is dying, and don't leave the house. Dylan is busy in his room so don't bother him unless it's an emergency. So it's just you and Aliyson until five when Jacob will get back from his friends.", she said kissing my cheek. "Ali come give mommy hug she's leaving", she smiled picking up her bag, Ali ran in and gave her a hug and then she left. "Well I guess we got the house to ourselves Ali.", I smiled taking a sip of my coffee and going to sit in the living room. Ali jumped onto the couch next to me and curled up next to me with her bear so I wrapped my arm around her,"Wanna watch The Backyardigans?" I asked her smiling.,"No, I wanna watch your show with you because I never get to sit with you anymore she said hugging me. I wrapped my arms around her, "Aw that's sweet and all but lets watch your show, you won't like mine. Its really confusing.", explained to her putting on her show. We watched her show for about an hour until she fell asleep laying on my side, a little while after she fell asleep Dylan came downstairs carrying a box. "Aww cute.", he smiled, "Want me to move her?", he asked placing the box on the table near the door, "Uhm yeah thanks.", I mumbled lifting my arm up so he could move her. She moved a little in her sleep as he moved her but she stayed sleeping, "There we go.", he smiled placing a blanket around her shoulders before walking out into the kitchen. I thought I felt my phone buzz and went to reach for it but quickly stop remembering that I had thrown it in the river. Sighing I reach for the remote and put onDr.Who[c] and continue where I had left off, a few hours later the three of us were playing on the xbox when the phone rang. "I'll get it I just died anyways.", I laugh answering the phone as I step into the kitchen,"Hello?", "Uhm hello yes I'm with the Mental Health Institution of America I'm calling about a pick up is there a Sarah Anderson there?", they ask as I grab a glass out of the cupboard. "No she's not here right now. Can I take a message?", I say opening the fridge. "I was just callIng to inform her that the doctor assigned to come pick up Hailee will be unavailable for tomorrow. So if she could call back and reschedule that would be great.", the lady explained, "Oh uh yeah I'll let her know thank you.", I say before hanging up. I walk back out to the living room where Dylan was helping Ali set up the next game, "Hey Dylan can I talk to you for a second?", I ask motioning to the kitchen. "Sure I'll be right there," he smiled patting Ali on the head and standing up, "Be right back boo.", "Okay Dilly", she giggled starting the round. "What is it Hailee? Who was on the phone?", he asked sitting down next to me. " I'm not sure who exactly but it was some lady from the MHIA, and she said that my pick up for tomorrow needed to be rescheduled. What did she mean?", I ask my voice breaking. "What did she mean by pick up? Is mom sending me away..?", I ask tears slowly starting to fall, "Hailee oh my god come here.", he says pulling me into his arms and rubbing my back, "It's okay I'm not gonna let her do that to you. I'll talk to her tonight after she gets back from work, if you need I can just take you with me. I know how she treats you when I'm not here..", he says hugging me tighter. "Thanks Dil but I can't do that to you that's your apartment I don't wanna feel like I'm taking away your privacy. Besides I can't just leave Ali, she already thinks I don't like her.", I explain crying into his chest, "Hey," he smiles leaning back to look at me,"It's gonna be okay, your big bro has got this. No one is going to take you away from me.", I saw tears forming in his eyes and pulled him back in, "Promise?", "I promise.", he says hugging me. "Guys? Are you coming back?",Ali asked from the doorway of the kitchen, "I'm coming Ali, I'm just talking to Hailee.", Dylan said giving her a smile. "Otay, but why is she crying?", Ali asked running up and wrapping her arms around me, "It's nothing, I promise.", I smiled hugging her, "But last time you said nothing I almost lost you.", she frowned hugging me tighter. "I know... ", I say my voice cracking, "But don't worry Ali, you're never gonna lose me. Not for a very long time.", I hug her until there was a knock on the door. "That's probably Jacob.", I say wiping my tears, "I've got it.," Dylan smiles," Hey Ali, why don't you come help me?", she nods and I let her go, "I'm gonna go clean up.", I smile heading for the stairs. "Take your time, I'll keep an eye on them.", Dylan smiled at me from the couch, "Thanks.", I smile to him before running upstairs. In my room I reach into the stand and pull out the notebook. I quickly shower then change into white shorts and a cute black tank top, putting the journal in my backpack, along with a bottle of water, my charger, and extra clothes. I grab the bag and my camera and head downstairs placing them by the door with my shoes. I go out into the kitchen and order them dinner. Once we finished the pizza, except mother's of course, and cleaned up she finally arrived home from work. She gave me a twenty then I picked up my bag slid on my shoes and placed the camera around my neck, and ran out the door, "Be home by midnight you have school tomorrow.", she called as I ran out the door grabbing my keys on the way. I got into my car and called Connor, smiling I hang up and pull out of the driveway slowly then taking the quickest way to the forest where we usually meet.
