· "So, what do you think?"

He asked, arching his left brow as he gazed at her eye to eye. She sighed, shrugging her shoulders before lifting the cup of tea in her grasp to take a sip from her drink. They're currently sitting inside a coffee shop, enjoying treats of their choice a while ago before the man brought up the topic. The atmosphere around them eventually had the feel of business to it as he discussed this certain subject with her. Although he seemed to be asking a favor rather than just story-telling, which is his inferior motive before finally trying to convince her halfway.

"I don't know, Ren. Yes, the girls and I have a very spacious house." She said, settling her cup on its saucer. "But living with thirteen boys? You've got to be kidding me. Have you lost your mind?!" So much for maintaining her cool; she just can't help but to find it outrageous.

"Alex, stop exaggerating. It's not that bad if you look at the good side." Ren said doing a few gestures, hoping that she would be convinced with his efforts on this. He was fighting the urge to roll his eyes at her exaggeration, but he needs to show his female companion that he's determined.

"Like there is to begin with." She mumbled under her breath, rolling her eyes in the process. "Men are just all a headache. Believe me or not, I've been there and done that." She said, getting more pissed at the thought of living with boys. This only made her the more difficult to agree with his favor. She sharpened her stare towards him before giving him her honest disapproval. "So no," She didn't hesitate and even seemed to be proud of her answer. She stared hard at him to cease his pestering since she knew to herself that her mind is already set. He fixed his slightly disarrayed locks out of exhaustion of trying too hard to plea to her.

"Could you at least consider it? Even just for a month or--" Before he could finish, he was interrupted by none other than Alex.

"Did you not hear what I said? Do I have to spell it out for you just so you can understand?" Her composure is obviously slipping away from her hands, but still attempts to keep herself at least calmer to prevent from shouting. "You and I know that when I said so, nothing will change. End of the conversation." Her tone was dead serious as her skin-cutting glare never peeled away from the man in front of her.

A sigh once again escaped Ren as he fished for his mobile phone in his pocket and texted someone in a hurry. Before he could even press the send button on the screen, a girl with strawberry blonde locks suddenly came towards their table and sat beside Alex with a cold coffee jelly in hand.

"Yo! Wazzap guys! The queen had arrived!~" The blonde girl said with a cheery and jolly tone of voice as she put her hands up halfway as though gesturing a 'YAY', winking to add more impact.

Alex groaned out of frustrated, not quite amused of the newly arrived friend of hers. "What's this?" Alex asked the male, indicating the other blonde girl, her brows furrowed as she crossed her arms and tapped one of her finger on her skin while waiting for an answer from the man.

"Uhhh... The 'Queen'?" Unsure of what to tell Alex, he turned to their new companion and said in a questioning way; emphasizing the 'Queen' part. He doesn't really know if he could ever agree to the other girl's self-proclamation. If you ask him, he'll say no without any hesitation.

"Ew?" Alex vocalized her distaste with a matching look on her face as she gave her tea a stir with its teaspoon before finally finishing off the remaining piece of her cake.

"Excuse me? Did you just insult me?" The other female asked, her tone became sharper and absolutely different from earlier.

"Are you deaf? In that case, then yes. I did." Exhaustion was written all over her face; she looks so done with all of these shenanigans.
