Winter solstice, Friday, 00:23
It was a cold night, enveloped in darkness, masked with gloominess. Water in River Thames has been as silent as never, or perhaps, was the silence before the thunderstorm. It was only an hour when silence was interrupted by a sudden jerk which shook the whole Eel Pie Island. The lights started flickering, doors and windows banged like they wanted to come off their hinges. Leaves rustled and trees came off from their roots with a loud thump. The wind blew hard, abolishing the whole island.
The only human seen in there was a man in his mid-40s. He looked tense and spoke, " T-t-the lord is here, w-wh-what have I done". As soon as these words stuttered from his lips, he saw a spark in the sky. The spark grew in size and soon took the shape of a circular object. It landed on the island, and the door opened with a hiss. The man rushed towards it and cried " my lord, o-oh m-m-my lord, f-for-forgive me".
