I heard a sudden commotion from outside the small cabin of the private jet. My heart racing, I quickly adjusted myself and looked around for something to defend myself. That's when my eyes landed on a vase on the bedside table. I grabbed it with both hands and stood next to the door, ready to strike.
As soon as the door opened up, I flung the vase with all my might, hoping to hit my captor and make a run for it. But to my horror, the vase was stopped mid-air, just inches away from my target. I looked up to see a tall, muscular man standing in the doorway, effortlessly holding the vase in his hand. It was him.
I stepped back, fear coursing through my veins. "Who are you?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.
As I saw the man enter the cabin and close the door behind him, a wave of fear washed over me, causing my heart to race and my palms to sweat. Despite my best efforts to keep my voice steady, it trembled as I demanded, "Who are you?"
The man didn't utter a word. Instead, he walked further into the cabin, his movements calculated and deliberate. With each step he took, my options dwindled until I found myself backed into a corner. There was nowhere to run. I watched in silence as he placed the vase on the counter and removed his mask, revealing a face that was stoic and unreadable.
I couldn't help but clutch my dress tightly as I stared at him, feeling both angry and scared at the same time. My eyes trailed down to his pant belt and I caught sight of a suspicious metal. Was that a gun? The thought alone made me shudder with fear.
He looked at me with a piercing gaze, as if trying to read my thoughts. I could feel his intense scrutiny on me, and I couldn't help but feel like a mouse caught in a trap.
"Who are you?" I repeated, my voice trembling slightly.
The man raised an eyebrow, his lips curved into a faint smirk. "You don't remember me, do you?" His voice was low but firm.
I furrowed my brows, trying to recall if I had ever met this man before. But his face didn't ring a bell.
"I don't know who you are," I said, my tone firm.
The man walked closer to me, and I backed away my heart racing. He stopped just a few feet away from me, and I could smell his cologne. It was strong, masculine, and strangely familiar.
"You will," he said, his voice low and menacing. "Soon enough."
With that, he turned around and walked out of the cabin, leaving me alone with my thoughts and fears. I sank onto the bed, my mind racing with questions. Who was he? What did he want from me? Why did he kill Emmet?
The thought of Emmet alone filled me with something as I quickly rushed behind and took the vase from the counter, holding it tightly in my hand. With a sudden burst of courage, I flung the door open and prepared to make a run for it. But my heart sank as I was immediately stopped by another muscular man, who snatched the vase away from me.
I thrashed against him, trying to hit the man, but he held me firmly in place. I watched helplessly as the man who killed Emmett take a seat in the luxury plane and watched me being restrained by his man.
"You killed my Emmett!" I screamed at him, my voice filled with rage and grief. "You have no right to behave as if nothing has happened!"
The man looked back at me stoically, unfazed by my actions. "Your Emmett was a mistake,"
I struggled against the man's hold, but it was no use. I was trapped, with no escape in sight. Angry tears streamed down my face as I realized that my life would never be the same again.
"Why are you doing this to me? Where in the world are you taking me? I don't even know you. What did I ever do to you?" I begged for answers.
The man across from me chose to ignore my presence. He signaled to his henchman to push me back into the cabin, and before I knew it, I was locked in. I pounded on the door, demanding answers, but they remained unanswered. The feeling of being trapped was suffocating, and I couldn't help but curl up in the corner of the bed, hoping to wake up and realize it was all just a nightmare.
As the jet began its descent, I sat huddled in the corner of the cabin, tears streaming down my face. I couldn't believe what was happening to me. I had been kidnapped, held captive, and now I found myself in an unknown place with no idea what was going to happen to me next.
When the jet finally landed, I was roughly dragged out of the cabin by the same man who had restrained me during the flight. I stumbled on the tarmac, my feet unsteady as I tried to keep up with my captors. My eyes fell on the signboards and realised we had landed in Cairo, Egypt.
The heat of the Egyptian sun beat down on me, making me feel more trapped than ever before. I longed for my freedom and wondered if I would ever be able to escape from this nightmare.
As I looked around, I saw the beautiful city of Cairo in the distance. It seemed like a world away from where I was standing. I knew that I had to find a way to get there and seek help, but how? The thought of being locked up in a foreign land made me feel even more isolated and alone.
The policemen's reaction to my plight left me with a feeling of utter despair. It was as if they had not even heard my cries for help. As the saying goes, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going." But at that moment, I felt far from tough. I felt vulnerable and powerless.
I realized then that sometimes in life, we are pushed beyond our limits and tested in ways we could never imagine. It's in these moments that we must find the strength to push through and never give up hope, no matter how bleak the situation may seem. As the saying goes, "When one door closes, another one opens." And so, with that thought in mind, I resolved to never lose hope and to keep fighting for my freedom.
As my captors dragged me away from the city in a car, I tried to fight back, but their grip was too strong. My heart pounded in my chest as we finally arrived in an isolated place and we entered a room with no windows. I pleaded with the woman present there to let me stay in a better room, but my voice trembled with fear.
"Please, can't you see I'm scared? Can't you at least let me stay in a room with a window? I feel like I'm suffocating in here," I begged.
The woman looked at me with sad eyes and shook her head. "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do. Please try to understand," she said, before leaving and locking the door behind her.
I was left alone in the dark and musty room, feeling like I was trapped in a nightmare. The walls seemed to close in on me and the lack of fresh air made it hard to breathe. My mind raced with thoughts of my family and loved ones, and what might have happened to them.
I crumbled to the floor, tears streaming down my face, as I tried to calm my racing heart. "Please, somebody help me," I whispered into the darkness.
But there was no answer, and I was left with nothing but fear and uncertainty. All I could do was pray for a miracle and hope that somehow, I would find a way out of this nightmare.
