A month later after Jasmine putting Mikel's friends in check, Jasmine and her boyfriend Brayden broke up because be put his hands on her. Of course she was heartbroken. She went to Mikel's apartment to talk to him about her relationship. Mikel heard a knock at the door. He opened it and it was Jasmine, with a black eye, punch marks, and a busted lip with tears running down her face.
Jasmine and Brayden had gotten into a argument because he was accusing Jasmine of cheating. Besides the black eye, a busted lip, and punch marks all over her, Brayden ended up giving her bruises. Mikel already knew what was up. He didn't even have to ask what happened.
As she was crying telling Mikel why'd they broke up, He would always tell Jasmine to leave Brayden. But Jasmine wouldn't listen to what Brayden was telling her or wouldn't listen to the advise that he would give her as well.
"You need to get Brayden off your mind because you deserve better than that and on top of that, you need to leave him." Mikel said." I can't, I love him too much." Jasmine said. " I know it hurts, but you'll realize that you need someone better than Brayden." Mikel said. "I'll go home and get some rest and think everything through long and hard." Jasmine said. Mikel made Jasmine feel better and Jasmine decided to go home and get some sleep to clear her mind off of Brayden.
