Im Sorry, Mikasa...

Eren's POV
I fell to my knees and held her lifeless body. Shes gone. The one I truly loved, shes gone forever. And its all because of me....

~Flashback~

Eren's POV
"Eren and Mikasa, get your horses ready we're going outside the walls." Levi said.

As I was getting my horse ready, I hit my hand on a metal pole and it started to ache. "Eren, are you ok?" Mikasa asked. Ugh, she probably saw. "Im ok. Now leave me alone." I said coldly. "No Eren, You're not ok, let me help. You cant go outside the walls like-"

"Shut up! God, you're freaking annoying! Stop trying to protect me. I dont need your help. Im not your little brother. Stay out of my business. I dont need you anymore." I yelled. She backed away slowly, tears falling down from her eyes. I made her cry...? No, Mikasa never cries. "Just go away,"I said coldly. Whats wrong with me today? "I-Im sorry..." She apologized and got on her horse.

-Outside the walls-
There was a titan behind me. I easily used my 3DMG and sliced its nape and got back on my horse. Then a red flare went off.

A red flare? "Mikasa!" I heard someone yell. Wait, that voice...its Armin's voice!

"WHERES MIKASA? MIKASA!" He yelled again. I caught up to him. "Whats wrong?" I asked, shocked. "Mikasa has disappeared!" Armin said shaking.

Mikasa, gone? I ran up to Levi. "Whats wrong with Mikasa?" I asked, worriedly. "We cant find her. And its almost time to go back in the walls. Have of us believe shes been eaten by a titan." Levi said. My eyes widened. Is this because of what I said earlier? "I have to find her...!" I said and rode off.

Mikasa's POV
I was in the woods, standing on a tree branch. Eren doesnt need me anymore. Im so stupid. Of course he doesnt. Thats when something knocked me down and I fell and hit my head hard. Blood started pouring from my head.

A titan. No, I wasnt going to die like this. I weakly took out my blade and...stabbed myself. Thats when my life flashed before my eyes. I smiled. "Bye..." was the last thing I said before I closed my eyes for the last time.

Eren's POV
I used my 3DMG to get from tree to tree. While getting from tree to tree, I stopped. Theres something or someone on the ground....

I use my 3DMG and get on the ground. My eyes widened and I started to cry to what I saw. Mikasa.

-End of Flashback-
I hugged her corpse tightly. "Im sorry...im sorry..." I stuttered, crying. "Dont leave me now...! No, no! Im sorry Mikasa! Dont leave me! Please...i-if you come back...I promise we can get married and have kids...please...no...we can live a life together...please...!" I cried. "I didnt mean what I said before...I was just mad! It shouldnt be you protecting me, it should be me protecting you...please Mikasa..." I said. I kissed her forehead. "Im sorry, Mikasa...I Love You."

Armin and the other Survey Corps came running up to me. "Eren-" Armin said "oh my god..." He started crying.

Some people were in shock and couldnt speak, but most were crying. I dont care if I was crying in front of them. My true love died...because of me.

-5 years later-
I slowly walked up to Mikasa's grave. "I did it, Mikasa. I killed the titans." I said. Tears starting falling from my eyes, but I quickly wiped them away. "I knew you could do it, Eren," A voice echoed. I turned around. What was that? "I love you, Eren." It echoed again.

I smiled. I love you too.
