Better Again

Alex sighed looking at herself in the mirror. She had long blond hair, which goes to her waist, and beautiful blue eyes. She hated it. She has gone day after day living with her highly successful parents who treat her like their own doll. She basically lives in a dollhouse. This has been going on for as long as she can remember. She keeps thinking, 'something's gotta give, right?' Tonight she had something planned. Something different than her usual watching YouTube for hours on end. Alex's parents were going on a business trip tomorrow and won't be back until 11:00 that night. That was perfect considering it was Saturday tomorrow. Saturday morning, Alex woke up happy for once. Or more excited. Quickly showered and got dressed, wearing the only not pink out fit in her closet, which was black skinny jeans and a My Chemical Romance hoodie with a Homestuck T-shirt. She bought this outfit at Hot Topic when her parents were away and hid it so they wouldn't throw it away. She also grabbed about 2,000$ from her parents room so she could get what she wanted.  She wanted to change her look completely. Her blonde hair was light enough so she didn't have to bleach it. Alex was thankful for that. People called her 'Elsa' at school sometimes and she hated it. They also called her 'Barbie.' Not anymore. The thought of the people calling her names drove her to hurry faster. She grabbed her phone with the earbuds and hurried to the hair salon. She sat and waited till there was a hair dresser available. "Hello! What would you like?" The lady asked. "Hi, can I have this?" Alex showed her a picture on her phone. (The picture above of  Melanie.) The lady smiled and nodded. "That is rebellious a bit, but of course!" Alex smiled and took in the details of the woman. She was buxom but very beautiful. She had auburn hair in a pixie cut and freckles across her cheeks. The lady cut her hair to the appropriate length and got the dye ready. Dyed Alex's hair and washed it out. The lady dried her hair and curled it. Alex smiled widely and paid the girl. She left happily and headed to Hot Topic. There she bought basically a whole new wardrobe. She paid there and put her clothes in the car. She then went to another store and bought bed sheets, paint and decorations for her room. She also got boxes. Alex drove home happily and quickly got to work painting her room to a purple instead of pink. She changed the bed sheets and put the new ones on her bed, which were black and white striped. She re-decorated with band posters and fandom merchandise, and admired her work. She put the old stuff in boxes and put them in her closet. While Alex was there, she replaced the old pink clothes with the new ones. Her new clothing consisted of band shirts, skinny jeans, and more shirts for the fandoms she was in. She put the old clothes in more boxes and sat on her bed. The joy was flowing through her, and Alex still had about 500$ to spare. She did all of this and it's only 10:30. Now all she could do was wait. Alex decided to watch VenturianTale until her parents get home.
