Today I start at a new school it's sorta sad since I had to leave me boy friend but I'll see him in a few weeks anyway. I'm really hoping today goes well and I'm trying to chose one of the cuter outfits in my closet I don't know how people will react. Finally I put on my black and white skinny jeans and a crop top that says act like a lady think like a boss and black vans. I hop in the shower and wash my hair and .i finish and get out and I blow dry my hair I let my auburn hair fall down in waves instead of straightening it .
"Honey it's time to go" my mom yells from down stairs . Hopefully this day won't turn to crap . I head downstairs and grab my backpack and and a poptart . I turn and run out side .
In the car my mom has the radio full blast on some old rock and roll station like always . As we pull into the parking lot of school I turn down the radio
"Bye mom love you " I say getting out of the car. as I'm walking up the steps when I hear mom scream " I love you baby have a great day " I look back and wave .
How more embarrassing can it get I walk threw the hallway looking at the floor hoping nobody sees how embarrassed I am as I bump into a group of boys I look up to see the most hottest guys you could ever imagine I'm sure my face just got redder
"Hey watch i-" one says but doesn't finish. I look Back to the ground and glance back up
"Oh, er um sorry " I struggle to get out. I go around them and when I turn a hallway to get to my first class. When someone grabs my arm and pulls me onto one of the bathrooms
"You stay away from them you here me you would have no chance whatsoever with them " a girl with blonde hair and hazel eyes says i look at her and notice she's in a cheerleader out fit . Ya this day is going to crap but I still don't see how she would even say something like that I don't even know who she's talking about I don't even know her.
Finally I put 2 and 2 together and and figured out she I meant the boys I bumped into sure I thought they were cute but I have a boyfriend and I'm happy with him .
I turned around to leave but she pulled me back and slapped me . Don't get me wrong I know how to fight when my dad was still around he thought me how to fight and every Saturday I had a MMA class to attend so I could so take this girl down f I wanted to . But today is my first day and I don't want to be known as the girl that took down a cheerleader on her first day. I recovered pretty quickly and tried to walk off again but she pulled me back and slapped me again .now .she.was.getting.on.my.nerves. I look at her and grit my teeth as I wiped the blood from my lip
"You better listen or I give it to you worse next time " I smiled and this time she punched me in the jaw that one hurt
"You stay away from all of them Nash Taylor Hayes Carter Jack j and Jack g Shawn Aaron Cameron and Matt like I said you have no chance" then she started laughing
Well she's a hoe I decided "I'm sorry I don't know who your talking about "I say innocently Evan tho I have only met three 2 had big, gorgeous blue eyes and another one the one I bumped into had a bandanna on
"Don't play dumb with me new girl "
"Whatever" I say and finally she lets me leave I walk out and one off the teachers see me
"Your late for class young lady what's your name" she says
"Faith Mayberry" and she hands me a pink slip
It said:
DETENTION NOTICE FOR
FAITH MAYBERRY
And then it had scribbles the teachers signature I guess yay first day and I already have a detention great
I got to my first class and only one seat was open and it was by the kid wearing the bandanna that I bumped into man I felt terrible
"Nice of you to join us I know your new but be on time tomorrow " he said checking my name on the roster
"Sorry sir " I said shyly sitting down by the kid with the bandanna
"Hey my names Taylor " I look over at him
"Mines Faith " I say barley audible could this be the guy that girl warned me not to talk to I hope not he seems nice .
The rest of the day went by like a dream I met all of the kids that girl was talking about I think they were all so sweet but now I have to stay in detention for an hour I guess I'll just walk home .
I got there and seen every one of the guys there and the cheerleader that pulled me into the bathroom today so I sat on the other side of the room I didn't want any drama they all sat there and giggled the whole time and now I know that all the kids I met today were the people she was talking about
Finally detention ended I walked home I got a few byes from the Boyd and a glare from the cheerleader as I walked out the walk home was extremely boring and when I got home I found mom waiting for me and the flash back hits
Flash back
I just got home from my very first day of school dad and mom were waiting at the bus stop when I got off I ran to them as they asked how my day went I told them I loved school and I made so many new friends daddy and mommy said they were so happy that I liked it dad pickled me up and put him on my shoulders
"I love you daddy "I say"I love you mommy"
"I love you baby "said mom and dad in unison
End of flash back
My eyes tear up at the thought of dad
"You got detention "
"Ya mom sorry I was late to class couldn't find it " I lied "heyy mom I was wondering if I could go and see Hunter I miss him and I want to see him earlier "
