"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light" ~Album Dumbledore
---
I remember those days when my mother use to turn on the light from the stove in our tiny one room apartment just so I could sleep, cause like most kids I was scared of the dark. However it came a time that I was growing up, yet my fears only tripled, but I knew with the more fears around the corner I had to atleast get rid of the oldest one. Their wasn't much of a plan often times when I would sleep over at my cousin's house the lights were off and I would stay hugging a stuff animal with my eyes wide awake looking around every corner.
Then it happened ...
Not how it should of happened but it did. I stopped caring. If a monster wanted to come crawling out of the closet or under the bed and I wasn't able to see it then shit the better, why see the things that hurt you. Yet the bottom line of the fact is we do. We like to see the things that hurt us the most to know who to thank once they make us stronger ,that if one day I turn on the lights from being scared of a horrible monster I will some day kick it and fight it away or who knows maybe even become friends with the monster.
