Sometimes maturity isn't gain as we get older, or maybe that's just Jared's case. It was the night of his twenty-first birthday, November 25 to be quite exact. He was now officially by the eyes of society viewed as a responsible adult...well maybe just an adult. He was thrilled honestly; there were such big plans for this night; he'd been planning it since he was fifteen. So the night was going to be quite promising.
Jared's Point of View
It all started when the clock struck seven. I stared at the mirror checking my outfit for the night. I know better than putting on anything fancy for Pamela and Brendon, my friends, where known to go wild on parties. So I decided on some skinny jeans, a navy blue bottom up and some black vans. I squinted my eyes –'I guess this should do.' - I thought while inspecting my appearance. After a few more seconds staring at my reflection, fixing my hair I finally nodded at myself approving my appearance. Leaving my room I made my way to my small living room. Now it was left was the arrival of my friends.
After a couple of minutes that felt like an eternity to me, there was a knock on my door. I quickly grabbed my dorm keys, cell phone and wallet, making my way to the door. I opened the door and was met with the two idiots I call friends. Pamela looked beautiful tonight her brown hair was cascading down her shoulders in waves and wore a nice fitted red party dress. While Brendon looked astounding with his luscious dirty blonde hair styled in a quiff, and wore a maroon shirt the rest of his outfit familiar to mine. In conclusion both of them looked great. –"HAPPY BIRTHDAY,BITCH!"- Both of them said at the same time, throwing themselves at me. I chuckled hugging them both. –"Thanks, guys! Now let's get this party started!"- I said giving them a toothed grin. They returned the grin, and patted my back. –"Well birthday boy, tonight will be a night you won't forget"- Pamela said smiling while she fixed the neck of my shirt, and when she was done we left my apartment.
After the car ride to the nightclub 'Blue Note', this was just on the bad side of town. I got of Pamela's car, and stared around; you could hear the loud music coming from inside the black building just across the street.-"Exited, aren't you?"-Brendon said while looking the building. We then made our way to the bouncer. –"Brendon, Pamela I see you guys brought someone new today. Buddy, let me see your ID"- The bouncer said eyeing me up. Damn, he's hot... I meant the weather. –"Is he okay? You guys sure he is 21?"- The bouncer asked Pamela and Brendon while worriedly staring at me.-"Oh he's fine, he's just checking you out, and it's his twenty-first birthday, so yeah he is legal. Pamela and I are taking him partying."- Brendon said smirking and somehow giving the bouncer my ID? How did he have it? What? I must have spaced out, and he took it from my wallet. I really need to stop spacing out so much.-"I am indeed legal, Mr. Bouncer." –I said while giving my most charming smile. Pamela rolled her eyes, and walked inside the night club. Whilst Brendon chuckled shaking his head.-"I know that now, kiddo. Well I won't hold you back much longer. You can enter."- The bouncer said while handing me back my ID. I nodded and entered the nightclub with Brendon. I gasped as I was consumed by neon lights. This is going to be awesome!
