Chapter 24- Brother?

*Skip a day*

Me and Simon were at Abbey and mine apartment. Abbey was upstairs with Vik. Simon and I were downstairs sitting on the couch.

"Why don't you like your parents?" Simon asked me

"When I was younger my dad died from a drug overdose so I didn't really know him. But my mom abused me and left me with strangers I didn't know. Just so she could do drugs. Then my brother was born when I was 13 and just for him she stopped doing drugs never abused him and treated him way better than me. She still abused me and never cared where I was or what I was doing. So one day when I was 15 I just left and lived with my friend until I was 18 and could live on my own. Then I meant you and you know the rest." I told him leaving out some stuff that I will tell him when I fell right. Then Simon went too say something  but there was a knock on the door. I get up too open it.

"Hey may I help you?" I say looking down at a 10 year old boy

"Yes is Jessie here?" He said

"Yeah, I'm Jessie" I said confused. He started crying and hugged me

"I'm your brother, Ryan" He said, I look at him and started crying 

"Come in" I say he came in and sat on the couch. He looked very scared. He had a hand mark on his face and bruises all over and scratches. 

"it's OK. You don't have too be scared. I'm not going too hurt you" I say and Simon looks at me

"I'm so sorry I should have called or something. I just needed too leave that house" He said crying, I felt so bad. I got up and grabbed his hand and took him too the kitchen and lifted him on the counter. I went to the bathroom and got the emergency kit and cleaned his cuts out. I also put a bag of ice on his face. After that I let him go too bed sense it was 11 O'clock. I told him we would talk in the morning.

"Who was that?" Simon asked confused 

"My brother" I said about too cry

"It's ok we don't have too talk about it do you just wanna go to bed?" he said

"yeah i'll talk too you about it more tomorrow"

"ok" He said then we went upstairs and went to bed

*skip to 3 in the morning*

I got woken up too someone saying my name it was Ryan

"yes Ryan?" I said whispering trying not too wake up Simon

"I had a nightmare" He said about too cry so I got up and brought him back too his room so I didn't wake up Simon

"what was your nightmare about?" I asked

"it was about mom she was hitting me and hitting me and wouldn't stop and I ended up dying" he said crying

"that's not going too happen, not with me around" I said and kissed his head and we started to cuddle and fell asleep
