"Father!" Yelled Nolan.
Blaze stood up and walked around us in a circle.
"I see you brought the human. What do you need, son?" He asked calmly.
Nolan paled. "My mother. I want to know more about her."
Blaze tensed. "There's nothing for you to know!"
Nolan's black fur was soft against my hand. But Blaze was different. It was obvious.
Nolan stared him down.
After a long stare Blaze gave in.
"Fine. Your mother was a kind hearted wolf-"
"You're wrong! She was human wasn't she." Said Nolan.
Blaze fell silent. His eyes were glued to the floor.
The pack stared at him. They were eager to know the truth.
He took a deep breath.
"Yes, she was human."
