The Final Battle of the Siblings

That whole mission has been on my mind for a bit; what happens if Jake, Hugo, and I fail? Will the world be gone? Dead? Part of me (okay, most of me) doesn't want to know- but then again, part of me does want to know.

What I was really excited about, though, was the newest Qudditch season. This year, I was the captain- no pressure on me, right? I mean, I had to replace a lot of the team- as they had all graduated last year.

Ravenclaw's chasers were: Rue, who was actually pretty good at this, Jaci, who was a seventh year, and our chaser from last year- Andrew, who is now a seventh year.

We had two new beaters: Danny, and he is a fifth year, and Dylan, and he is a third year.

Our newest keeper is a girl named Hannah, and she is also in her third year.

"Alright, team," I began in the locker room after a breakfast (I made the team eat- it's not good to play Qudditch on an empty stomach!).

"Our first match of the season is against Gryffindor. Those of you who were on the team last year- okay, so just Andrew- you know that the old captain, Zayne, would go on for hours on end about strategies. Once I think Andrew and I fell asleep."

"Yea, we did." He cut me off. I looked at him, and he remained quiet. He doesn't want to see my anger.

"Okay, I have a few ideas on how we're going to work this first game- nothing too rash, nothing to terribly hard, alright?"

"What are they, Lily?" asked Jaci, curiously.

I smiled. "I was getting to that."

Jaci blushed, and I smiled, "Don't worry, I was waiting for somebody to ask that." She smiled back at me.

"Beaters- I need you guys to aim at the other chasers and beaters- but don't knock them off they're broom unless it's totally necessary, got it?"

"Got it, captain." Dylan and Danny stated in sync, also saluting me along the way.

"Don't salute me, boys." Everybody laughed, and the said two blushed, but laughed.

"Chasers," I began once we all calmed down. "Get the ball, score, but don't always pass to the same person, switch it up- or else they'll know who to guard and who will get the ball next."

The three chasers nodded.

"Hannah, do your thing- let one or two goals in- we don't want them to play so hard in the beginning, or else, we will all get tired too quickly."

She nodded. "And if there is a huge battle thing..... This year, we're going to fight back. It's Andrew and Jaci's last year here at Hogwarts- forever. And, well, have a bit of fun. Besides- you never know if the world will end tomorrow." I sadly smiled.

They didn't see through the smile.

The world's fate wasn't on my shoulders. Just think that, Lily, and maybe you'll be calm- just for a bit. Even for a little bit. I wouldn't care, because, honestly? That's what I need- a stress-free day for once...

The team and I went outside onto the field to face Gryffindor. The commentator was new this year- Teddy had come back, and now he's the commentator, and to be honest, I was a bit scared... I mean, McGonagall wouldn't let him- but now Athena is? Smart....

"Shake hands." Mum, who would occasionally referee Qudditch games stated to me and James, who was the other captain.

I noticed Jake was on the team this year (a chaser), and he winked at me. I also noticed that James was checking out Jaci, and also winked at her. Jaci blushed. Something is going on between those two...

After my brother and I shook hands (trying to cut off the others blood flow through the hand shake), we all rose up above the ground and began to play the game.

The strategies I had planned had worked; the score was currently seventy to twenty, Ravenclaw in the lead. I smirked as I saw the golden snitch right above my father's head (who was in the stadium), and right by Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron's as well.

I sped over there, James tailing behind me. He and I were neck and neck as soon as we reached the stands. Just a few more yards until the snitch is within my grasp...

"You'll never win!" shouted my brother, clearly taking this sport too seriously, like always.

"Oh, Jamie, you can think that if it helps you sleep at night!"

I made my broom suddenly jerk to throw him off task; it had worked! He stopped quickly, to see what had happened.

Smirking to myself, my hand was soon around a tiny, golden, fluttering winged ball. I looked down at my three family members.

"Bloody hell, she just like appeared..."

And that would be Uncle Ron....

Dad just smiled at me, and I smiled back.

I flew back to the field, and raised my hand up high to show that I had won.

That was when the Final Battle of the Siblings started- spells were going everywhere, and as I caught the Greek goddess Athena's stormy grey eyes that were much like Jake's, I noticed that as she looked at me, she seemed to have said to me in my head:

"Good job, Lillian. Worthy of a child of Athena." As I smiled back at her, I failed to notice something.

The last thing I saw as I turned around to face the Final Battle of the Siblings was a bright blue jet of light hitting me in the chest.

It then went all black.
