Chapter 5 Sick Days

Today of all days I'm sick. Chloe said she had the cold when she came over,but she didn't know.
The next day I end up in bed puking and sneezing all day. At least I don't have to go to school.
The worst thing is I have the flew! You know what I want? I want a new phone and the rest of twix candy bars in the world! I'm sorry they are really good. I want a phone that would actually let you FaceTime. I wanted to see Carly and Jade but I was too sick, of course that's what my mom said.
I rolled my eyes and folded my arms. I gave my mom the sassy evil look that told her I was mad,sad,dramatic,and too sick to talk. I wanted to sleep for the rest of my life so I don't have to deal with school.

I herd the phone rang and I popped out of bed fast.
I was expecting Carly or Jade to be on the phone but it was my mom.

Our.  Conversation:

Hi honey!
Hey mom.
I just wanted to tell you I'm going to be home in 5 minutes.
But, your supposed to stay at work for another 4 hours!
Oh, someone doesn't miss their mommy.
She made a kissing sound and then she hung up.

Back to the story:

I didn't want mom to come. She's gonna be swarming around me with gloves and a gas mask just because I have the flew.
Well before I could put the phone down mom came bursting in the house.
Why are you here early mom, you said 5 minuets!
When I say 5 minutes I mean basically a second darling.
I went to Hobby Lobby and picked you up Kwai animal stickers for school.
Mom I am too old for stickers and what will I do with them?
Well your just too old for everything I'll decorate picture frames!
I rolled my eyes as she high pitched sung to her room.
