She walked the steps between life and death
An opening between hell and the end.
Knowing her end was null.
She walked the twenty-seven
last steps and stood in fire.
His reckoning was nigh.

He stood with her trial nigh
And greeted her, eyes filled with death
She stared back with a gaze of fire
Preparing for her indubitable end.
Removed from the dimensions twenty-seven.
Her fate was null,

Culled by the Cosmic Scythe, deemed null.
But he stared back and told her her end was not nigh.
For the remainder of twenty-seven
Remained. Though she was dead she would not face death.
The Death Giant would not bring her end.
They could let go and embrace the fire.

Minutes later extinguish met fire,
And they became not so null.
They escaped the end.
And though she was alive her death was still nigh.
For one cannot cheat death
And continue to walk the plane twenty-seven.

And as she broke the twenty-seven,
The fifty fifth began a rage of fire
Inescapable from the maws of death
Her escape rendered null,
By her absolute death nigh
She ran from it till the end.

However, it would find her eventually, her end.
She'd lived a long double twenty-seven
Lives. And she lived her last in anxiety over the nigh
Death that awaited her in the pits of fire.
She did not want to be null.
She did not want to face death.

But the time came, her death, her end.
Her null contribution to her lives twenty-seven.
All burned away in heaven's fire, her threat never again nigh.
