I remembered him crying non stop. I remembered him begging and sobbing. Calling for someone then cry and sob again, for 10 whole minutes. Sobbing and sobbing for no reason."Sef, stop crying." I said in almost a sigh. The boy didn't stop. He continue to sob and sob.
"Walang magagawa yang iyak mo!" Instead of putting it into actual words he said it with his cry. My ears are beginning to hurt and my head is about to explode. His voice is like a thousand police sirens!
"Sef naman eh! Tumigil ka na!" My six years old hands grab his two shoulders and shook him. He still didn't answer instead he made his cry even louder. I growled in frustration. I toss myself to the ground and sat down. I could have been left him here, alone and let him drain all his fluids if it wasn't for the fact that we're lost in this dark and haunting forest and I don't know where to go.
I begin to tremble...
I can only see, silhouettes of tress. I can hear movements, creaking and whizzing and creaking again but I don't see anything but silhouettes of trees. That large round object that watches us every night is the only source of light yet I can't see anything but silhouettes of trees.
More trembling...
As I roam my eyes around I saw some rocks. I want to distract myself from the fright. I pick them up. They where just mountain rocks yet they look like small meteorites with these small craters around them.
"Tignan mo to Sef! Galing to sa bwan." I hand over my rocks. For a merciful second he stop crying and stared at the rocks.
"Galing yan doon oh!" I pointed the large round object that watches us every night and he look up. He didn't say a thing so I look at him, he just stares at the moon with that big awed 7 year old eyes, like his life depended on it. Not suspicious, not doubting at all. I am amaze he bought that so easily.
I frowned when a ray of light flashes before me.
Then I saw my dad's crying face appeared out of nowhere, he carried me and Sef was carried by some rescue guy. His chin was still up, facing the vast sky, looking at the large round object that watches us every night.
