i had noticed something was diffrent this morning when i saw max and lilly walking to school. "hey you two" i said approching them "oh hey sam" Lilly said "hey" max added after and then i saw it there hand were interlocked together "hmmm" "what is it sam?" asked max "oh i just realised that you and lilly were holding hands" "oh ok. you wanna join us walking to school today" "yeah why not" and we headed off to school where Elie was standing outside with her little group of girls aka the populars as they were called. and when Elie saw max she walked straight over and placed her hand on his chest "hey handsome" she said but max just nudged her off without a word "whats wrong with yo... oh i see you've moved on already" "what do you mean already its been months and its not like we did anything elie i was just your stepping stone to becoming popular" "hmph i'll get what i want" she said walking up to lilly and right in her face said "don't think your safe just cause your with him" "elie leave her alone" i finally spoke "whatever" she said turning and walking back to her group.

time warp

it was the end of school and everyone was heading home. i had some work to catch up on so i had to stay behind for a bit. after i had finished i started to leave when i heard something like the sound of something being thrown at the wall. my curiosity got the best of me and i decided to look round the corner and..... 'what the..' it was Lilly and elie. Elie had just knocked her against the wall but it was obvious she had done much more as there were cuts and blood all over lillys face, arms and legs."BACK OFF OF MAX BEFORE I MAKE YOU!!" "but why he said that you.." "I DID NOTHING TO HIM HE DUMPED ME" i had heard about all i want and stepped out "what are you doing elie?" she seemed shocked to see me but i could tell lilly was somewhat relieved "teaching lilly what happens when you steal the popular girls date" she said cutting lilly once more before letting her go. Lillys legs instantly collapsed from pain and weakness "now if you don't mind im going to see max" "i think not" i said knocking her back and cuting her cheak with my pocket knife "how dare you do that to my beautiful face!" "oh im soo sorry did i make you ugly???" i said laughing "ugh im out of here" she said pushing me off weakly and stomping off home. "thanks sam" i heard lilly say in a small voice " its fine your my friend one and two your maxs girl so its my job to stand up for you" "thats sweet but im sure i would of lived. i mean she can't kill me" "she can and she will if she wants to" i said holding out a hand to help lilly up which she took gratefully and stood up dusting herself off gently "tch" i heard her say each time she moved "you need any help?" i asked "no im ok" she said through the pain and then max appeard round the corner. "lilly! sam.." "max im so glad your here it was..." "Elie. i know she does it whenever i hang out with a new girl. anyways lilly are you ok?" he said going and checking over her "yeah it hurts a bit but it could of been worse if sam didn't show up" "ok then thanks sam for saving my little lilly" and with that we all walked home together max taking lilly back to hers and helping her clean up her cuts.
