Chapter 3 Get ready, here we go!!!

Bruce POV…

I walk into my office and my best friend/ Beta Henry is just sitting at my desk… Looking through some paper work…  I don’t know what the hell his doing or why he keeps looking through those files as if I’m going to change my mind I want the Torez family here and that’s that. I have no patience and there’s no changing of my mind.. Tom Torez is the best, and that’s what I want for my company “the best”…. I don’t care what I have to do, say, or pay….  I walk farther into my office and Henry jumps a little frighten I guess… -“I sear that man cant hear shit or use his since when his reading what a waste of a werewolf, sometimes I wonder why I choose him as my beta…”- As tempted as I was to laugh at his reaction I just kept an annoyed look on my face… “What the hell bro, why do you always sneak around like that, you’re going to give me a heart attack one day!!” Henry shouts.. I just roll my eyes and walk around to my seat in front of my desk…. “First tell me why you are in my office and looking through my files again! I state/ ask as I take my seat… “I still cant see why you want the human, why not one of our own kind so we wont have to watch what we say or hind who we around those fucking humans… I just don’t understand what supposedly makes him the best!?!?”  I not going to explain myself again, I simply won’t do it. So I just turn around in my seat and look out the window… And since I didn’t answer Henry decides that his going to keep talking… Gosh some people can’t take a hint… “Bruce is this about the girl, is that the real reason, your hiring this human, because of a fucking girl??” I don’t know why but I just lost it, I jumped out of my seat and I had his back on the wall across my desk and his neck in my hands in less than 4 seconds… and between my teeth I said “don’t you every in your fucking pathetic life question me… what I do or decide in my life is non of your business beta or not I will fucking kill you, and put someone else in your stupid fucking position… by the look in his eyes I can tell my eyes most have been as red as blood… but I didn’t care I wanted him to understand the message I was trying to implant in that thick head of his… Stuttering Henry tells me “I’ I’mm Soo soorry man, I wont do it again”  I put him down and walk back to my desk and breath in slowly to try an calm myself down…  when I turn around Henry is still in my office so, slowly as slowly as I can speak so he can understand and so I can keep calm, I say “I want you to get out of my office, walk your ass into your office grab your phone, call Florida and tell the Torez family that I want them here “Yesterday” understood…” shaking his head acknowledging that he understood he pushes himself off the wall and walks out my office… I turned around and sat back down on my chair, looking out my office window into the city… I sat there just to think… In a way Henry, is right I don’t know if I should be mixing personal and work related business… “Listen here Bruce, we’re not mixing anything Tom is the best and that’s that… and the other little matter is something separate, there’s no mixing of the two…” I don’t remember asking you anything so just shut up, you stupid dog!! I shout in my head… I have to just leave that matter alone for now and deal with it once the Torez family gets here to Massachusetts, in what I hope is no time at all…  

Victoria’s POV…

I’m serious Raquel; we leave at the end of this stupid party… “Well lets leave this flop of a party and go to Franks house party, they say its going to be explosive, Lets make your last day here in Florida “A Night to Remember” How about it?..” Raquel asks with enthusiasm in her voice…  I wish!!! Man do I… But sadly I cant,___ “ Why? What do you mean you can’t? Raquel whines while cutting me off… I mean just that! I cant, you don’t understand the only reason we came to this stupid party is because it ends early, I mean there’s only like an hour left give or take… and as soon as we leave here its straight to the airport “no detours”… I say with air quotes…  “Don’t worry babe, I will beg my parents till no end to let me visit you every school break I get, there’s no way I’m going to let my girl forget about me….” She says while hugging me, then she pull out of the hug and winks at me… You better Bitch!! We both start laughing a go out side to talk some more…. Once outside I had to tell Raquel what really was pissing me off…  Ray ray!! You want to know what really has me about to explode, about being in Massachusetts in about 5hrs. “Tell me girl I can see since yesterday that something was eating you? So let it out girl…” Raquel asks while sitting down on the bench just outside the NuCo building where the party was taking place…  Pacing back and forth I start to tell Raquel… Ray can you believe that, that jerk wants our family to go meet him as soon as the plane lands, that asshole wont even let us rest, NOOO instead as soon as we get there he wants to meet our family, and introduce my Uncle to the business and all of the major bosses including himself… I mean where is his humanity, not only that he insist that my uncle stay in one of his houses on his property… I mean what the fuck is he trying to do control my uncles every move, have him depend off of him so that my uncle wont have a say so on anything, and do only as he approves…Ahhh!! I scream as I take a sit next to my friend… “Vi take a breath, I’m not try to defend the guy, but maybe he is just looking out girl… I mean maybe yeah he could have waited on the meeting thing till the next day since y’all are going to get there tired and all, but maybe the house and everything is just for the trouble of making y’all move over there so suddenly… don’t be so quick on judging him…” Raquel says trying to make me feel better… But all she did was upset me more... I mean whose friend is she, she is supposed to be on my side not his… outraged I get up and walk away… “Vi wait… come on please” Raquel screams… I turn around and look at her, and scream… What for you obviously prefer to defend a complete nobody, meaning someone you don’t even know over your own friend! “It’s not like that; I’m just trying to make you see the positive in all this… But you obviously don’t want to hear it…” “Vi I would never chose a stranger over you, but there’s this hate you have developed for this man, that I just don’t understand, you don’t even know him” Raquel reasons…  You’re right you don’t understand I have my reasons for hating this guy his the one to blame for everything that’s going on right now, his removing me from everything I know and Love… Raquel can’t you see everything I hear about him, or whatever; makes him seem like a complete heartless prick… I scream with tears rolling out of my eyes… “Babe, I love you, and if it makes you feel better fuck him his a total twat for forcing you and your family to meet him right after a long plane ride” Raquel says while pulling me into a hug… we both laugh and I wipe the tears off my face… I smack her on the back of the head as we make our way back to the bench… “OUCH!! What was that for? She whines’… Laughing I tell her “That was for upsetting me, Bitch…”  Raquel sticks her tongue out at me and I laugh… **4hrs Later…**   Still Victoria’s POV…   “Vic, Wake up! We’re here!” Called Aunt Melody… Awe Can you ever just give me some good news?  I asked as I stretched to wake all the way up… “Victoria, Stop! You need to behave, your uncle and I both don’t need any of your sass, right now… With that said get up, get your stuff and let’s get off this plane… We need to get ready to meet Mr. O’staga in 45 minutes…” After her little speech, my darling aunt grab her bag and walked away, I went into the top Ben of the airplane and grabbed my carry-on bag and followed her out… I followed my aunt and uncle all the way to the conveyor belt to pick up our luggage, without saying one word… but I still can’t believe I have to meet this guy, I’m not working for him, why the fuck do I have to be there, but whatever I have to “behave”… So I’m just going to do as my aunt asked of me till said guy lets us go to one of his houses to rest… For today I would have to sallow my hate for this guy or should I say Mr. O’staga… “Victoria!!” Yes Aunt Melody?  “You see that guy over there with the sign the one with our names on it, Well Hon; can you walk over to him and ask him to help us with the luggage, please!” Of course, Auntie Dearest… I answer her as I turn around looking for that dude… As soon as I find him I couldn’t believe my eyes he was a total hunk… I mean dam! He was 6.5” give or take, built body and dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, square shaped face and he was wearing a drivers suit and if it wasn’t for that shirt I pretty sure I would see his six pack abs… My God!! He look good enough to eat…  Victoria stop thinking stupid thoughts and just go up to that hunk and ask for his help I tell myself…. Deep breaths! I clear my throat and say “hey there Sir? I’m one of the members of the Torez family, and my Aunt was wondering if you don’t mind helping us with our luggage?”  The guy looked at me (man was he sexier up close) and with a smirk he answered me “Of course, I’m here to help that why I was sent, but sweetie don’t call me sir I’m pretty sure I have a name and that’s not it... Call me Jerry… And it’s a pleasure meeting you ????”  Oh yeah sorry Victoria Torez… and its nice to meet you too Jerry… Alright so follow me… I lead Jerry to where my uncle and aunt were getting the luggage and he immediately went to help… I grabbed my stuff and follow all of them over to the car that jerry used to pick us up!! I had to stop and admire it I mean that was a sweet ride I still loved my baby more but this was an Audi!! An all white metallic 2013 Audi S6, this bitch was sweet…“So Jerry How old are you? I don’t mean to be rude with my question but you seem pretty young!” “ Oh no don’t worry Sir your not being rude at all, I am actually young I guess in some aspect, I’m going to be officially 18 in about 30mins… Jerry answers my uncle with a teasing smile… I laughed and everybody looked at me including Jerry, so since all the attentions was on me, I said “Well Happy early birthday to you and since it’s your birthday an all how about I let you rest for a while and you let me drive?? Jerry smile and shock his head while saying “Better luck next time sweet cheeks” I gave him a soft push and got into the car… My Uncle and Aunt did the same while laughing at my little exchange with Jerry… I think this trip might not be so bad as long as I get to hang out with Jerry more often he is a very cool person and I think me and him will be come real close!!  

Bruce’s POV…  

Where the hell are they? “Calm down man I just spoke to Jerry and they’re on their way… they’ll be here in about 5 to 10 minutes…” Henry answers my question. Henry more than anyone knows how thin my patience is and I don’t know why they sent Jerry of all people to pick them up that kid is such a goof sometimes I hope he did everything as I asked of him…  While I’m going over to my study, inform me once they arrive! I ordered Henry... “Sure Alpha no problem, but May I ask you one thing..?” I really didn’t want to answer any of his questions but with the shake of my hand I urged him to continue and ask away… “Does the Torez family know that they will be staying here in this house along with you?” I turned around to face Henry, because I really didn’t inform them it kind of slipped my mind, I guess…. “No I actually didn’t inform them do you think, it will make a difference they really don’t have anywhere to go for the time being?” “I don’t think there will be a problem, but I mean we never know, they are humans and they just might view this differently.” Henry answered my question, and then walked away, turning around he looks at me and smiles, and say by the way man their here….
