as he stroked her cheeks she smiled because all she could feel was the joys of love.
all she could see was his loving gaze.
all she could hear was the sweet lies that escaped his lips.
she wondered what she'd done to deserve his kindness.
as she wiped the tears from her red cheeks, she cried more salty tears.
everything around her was broken.
all she felt was the sting of hurt.
all she saw was her shattered heart.
she wondered what had she done to deserve the pain in her weeping heart.
