Chapter 9

Angel POV

I walked into school, cheeks probably still red from Trey's action. I toyed with the strands of hair from my pony tail as I made my way to Hazel's locker. I knew she would be there. She always is in the mornings. I smiled once I saw her, walking up to her. I leaned against the lockers next to her, smiling slightly. "Morning." I smiled crossing my arms in front of my chest. She peeked from around her locker door, smiling. "Hey!" She chuckled, closing her locker. "So what's up? OMG! How did the date with Axel go?" She gasped, looking at me. Her bright blue eyes sparkled with curiosity, a big smile playing on her lips. I chuckled softly, looking at her. "It was really amazing! He was really sweet! He brought me home and whished me goodnight and kissed my-" Before I could finish, Hazel spoke up. "Lips?!" She squealed, looking at me. I shook my head. "I was going to say forehead. Lips would have been amazing, but forehead was really sweet." I smiled, cheeks heating up slightly. "Aaaaahw little Angel is blushiiiiing." She giggled, poking my cheek. I swatted her hand away and chuckled. "Shut up." I smiled, looking around the halls.

"So are you two together now?" She asked, looking at me. I shook my head. "Nope." I replied. "Not yet." She wiggled her eyebrows at me and winked. I shook my head and swatted the back of her head. "Oh shush you." I giggled. She smiled and ran a hand through her long blonde hair. I gasped softly. "That reminds me, we were going to the zoo today." I smiled. "Oh god I wish him good luck with you at the penguins." She chuckled. I swatted her arm. "Hey! I just happen to love penguins, shut the fuck up!" I giggled. She looked at something, or rather someone, behind me and smirked. "Oh I'll shush." She winked. I frowned and turned around, being greeted by Axel's chest. I looked up at him. He smiled at me and bit at one of his lip piercings. "So the zoo today...right?" He asked, smiling an award winning smile. I returned one and nodded while my cheeks turned red. "Y-yeah...I'm excited for that." I smiled. He grinned and looked down at me. "Good to hear. I have to go now, text me when your last period ends alright?" He winked, running his fingers through the strands of my pony tail before he turned on his heel and walked away.

I turned to Hazel and squealed while she jumped up and down. "Omg I ship it!!" She giggled like she had coffee or something. I chuckled at her and smiled. "You're such a weirdo. C'mon, we have a class to get to." I said, readjusting my backpack. She nodded and picked up her own, slinging it onto her back. "What class do we have?" She asked me as we made our way through the crowded halls. "French." I replied. She nodded and sighed. "I love the way they talk but I don't understand anything of what they say." She chuckled, walking up the stairs with me beside her. (Hehehe) 

It was around noon when my classes ended. I took my phone from my pocket, walking outside and leaning against the wall. I cleared my throat and decided to text Axel now.

Angel: Hey :) My classes just ended, you want to go to the zoo now? Or?

I bit my lip while I waited for a reply to come up. 2 minutes passed before my phone buzzed in my hand.

Axel: Gotcha! On my way, beautiful ;)

He texted back which made me squeal and get all fuzzy inside. I shoved my phone in my pocket and leaned against the wall a little more. Soon a black mustang pulled up, engine roaring as Axel leaned out the window. "Hey!" He greeted as I sat down in the passengers seat. I smiled at him. "Hi!" I chuckled, leaning against the seat. He drove away from the school. "Now let's go and see some animals shall we?" He winked. I giggled and nodded, looking out the window.

It wasn't long after when we arrived, people smiling and kids laughing. Sometimes laughing kids are creepy. I don't want to hear their laughs at night time. We made our way in, people giving Axel strange looks. Just because he's covered in tattoos and piercings and hair dye doesn't mean he's a bad guy. I rolled my eyes at those people and continued to walk. "What kind of animals do they even have here?" Axel mumbled, throwing an arm around my shoulders as we walked to the map. I tried not to faint at that moment. I gasped and pointed at a penguin symbol. "Penguins!" I giggled, looking at Axel. He chuckled at me and ran his other hand through his hair. "Alrighty, penguins it is.

On our way we went past many other animals. Such as, elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, zebras, panthers and many more. I gasped and bounced up and down slightly as we entered the area I wanted to be the most. Not his area. Well maybe. But I actually meant the penguin area. We walked in and stood near some thick glass walls, penguins playing and swimming around. A big smile played on my lips as I looked at their cuteness. There were some really adorable, fluffy baby penguins that played around with each other and seemed to have the best time of their lives. I smiled as the other bigger penguins swam on their tummies, swimming in circles and giving us some sort of show. The baby penguins waddled around on small little islands as well as pushing each other off the sides.

Axel and I laughed at them, enjoying watching them. He had moved and stood behind me now, arms around my waist and his chin on my shoulder. I had my hands on his as we looked at the penguins having fun. "God I wish I had one of those baby penguins." I giggled, pointing at an extremely fluffy grey penguin. Axel smiled and let me go. "I will be right back." He turned around and stalked off somewhere. I would have cared more but at this point I was too focussed on the penguins to look at where he was going.

My question was answered not long after as he returned with a big, fluffly, baby penguin pluche. I gasped and took it, pushing it to my chest. "Omg Axel thank you so much! It's so cute!" I giggled, looking at him. He chuckled and put one hand on my waist, pulling me closer to him. He placed his thumb and forefinger on my chin, lifting it to make me look up at him. He took his bottom lip in between his teeth, his eyes scanning all over my face. I held the penguin close to me as my cheeks turned red and heated up. He gave me a smug smile, leaning down and brushing his plumpy lips over mine. He looked at me in the eyes, (Heh song ref 2) slowly pushing our lips together. I felt my entire tummy explode with a fuzzy feeling as I closed my eyes, kissing a cute and punk boy in front of penguins. A dream come true.
