isaac stood uncomfortably in the dance hall. it was his senior year, his last dance of the year and he really didn't want to be there. but, he'd promised alice he'd stay until after they announce prom king and queen so that is what he is currently doing, leaning against the back wall with a bottle of water.

"isaac, can't you try to have fun?" isaac shifted his head to find the forever happy alice standing beside him.

"alice you know big crowds make me nervous." isaac merely replied, but the cullen daughter didn't reply as she clearly got a vision, and she quickly skipped off in another direction leaving isaac alone.

"i hear you don't want to dance." isaac froze as the oh so familiar voice washed over him. a voice he hadn't heard since he was 15 years old. isaac didn't want to turn around, but he did, slowly making eye contact with the crystal blue eyes that belong to his first love. and, with that eye contact came something that would last a life time, the imprint bond.

and isaac felt his life clicking into place for the first time since he left.
