NCET stands for National Council for Educational Technology. Its purpose is bring beneficial change to the processes of learning in education and training through the development and application of educational technology.
NCET designs and produces learning materials in all subjects, does research and manages projects, supports training for trainers and teachers.
In schools, NCET wants to promote and spread good practice by using new technologies, provides professional guidance to teacher trainers, develops high quality curriculum materials. It also gives particular support for children and young adults, including the handicapped.
For industry, NCET's work included language training and the application of artificial intelligence systems to training.
NCET always keeps abreast of developments in technology and develops project's potential in education and training.
