We were driving home when I heard thunder. I jumped and screamed.
Me and my new mom and dad were just coming home from the orphanage.
"We heard that you burnt your house down. Why would you do that?" My new dad Mitch asked.
"Is it fine if I call you guys Mitch and Debora?" I asked looking around. They had a older son and a baby sister.
There son Derek was looking at me the whole ride. "Yes that's fine. Now will you please answer my question?" Mitch asked drumming his fingers on the steering wheel.
I told them the whole story. (Which is in the description.)
"Wow. So sad." Derek said in a sarcastic tone.
"Go fuck yourself." I said furrowing my eyebrows.
Mitch and Debora began laughing at something Mitch said. So idiotic.
We finally pulled into our house. It was a five story house. My jaw dropped.
"You can't burn this one down." Derek said placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Then don't get me mad and I think we won't have a problem." I said totally oblivious to him put his hand on my ass. "You sick fuck. I'm your new sister so treat me like one!" I yelled when Mitch and Debora walked away.
"Your cute when your mad." He said laughing. Why would a seventeen year old guy be hitting one a sixteen year old girl who burnt her house down.
"Shut the hell up." I said furrowing my eyebrows at him.
"Okay." He said putting his hands up in surrender and walked in the house.
My new life sucks. Badly. I walked in the house looking for my room. It was the attic. It is eerie and dark. I'm like totally freaked out about sleeping up here.
I walked downstairs and saw Mitch, Debora, and Derek standing there.
"Did I do something wrong?" I asked shoving past them.
Derek grabbed my arm and led me to the car. "What the hell!" I screamed punching him. "Get your hands off me!" I yelled louder.
He threw me in the back seat and shut the door. "We're going school shopping." He said lazily
"You couldn't have told me!? I would've just came. God." I said madly.
"I don't believe you. How could I. You dragged me to the car." I said getting in his face.
"Whatever." He said shoving me back in my seat.
Mitch and Debora finally decided to join us. And they were laughing at us.
"Mom, dad. Quit laughing!" Derek yelled.
"Okay okay okay." Debora said.
~*~We made it to the store. It was an under armor store. "Really. This place is expensive. And huge." I complained.
"Get over it." Derek said, walking in the store.
I reluctantly followed and went to the book bag aisle. I flipped through all the book bags when a male voice spoke. "You know. You don't have to go crazy to find a back pack."
I turned and furrowed my eyebrows. The boy had brown hair and light blue eyes. "Shut up. I'm very picky. I never went t.... You know actually I'll shut up. I can't spill my secrets to a guy I don't even know." I said turning back around.
"Well. I bet you'll get to know me more. I mean after all. The people I saw you come in with goes to the same school as me." He said. "My names Drake." He added.
"I'm Cassy." I said finally finding the right bag. "Now bye." I said smiling quickly and walking away.
I put my long brown hair in a ponytail then went to look for my new family.
