I slowly reached out my hand to turn off my alarm. Then I slowly sat up and yawned. "6:47am" I read on my phone. I sighed and walked to the bathroom taking a quick shower. I quickly got dressed. I put on a a red and black plaid shirt and some light skinny jeans on. Next I did my hair in to braids and put a beanie on. Then I walked in the kitchen and poured myself some cereal. As I was almost done eating my best friend Shawn texted me.
(Shawn: S, Y/N: Y)
S: I'll b there in 5
Y: Okay see ya soon
(End of phone Convo)
Me and Shawn have been best friends since we were 5 and now we're 17. I've also had a big crush on him in that time. Yes, I've had a crush on my beat friend for years and haven't told him. I never told him because to me, it'd be a waste of time. Shawn is an Internet sensation and has been since he was about 15. And in the past year He's already released an album and been on tours and has performed in front of tons people. There are tons of girls out there who are way prettier than me that have a much better shot with him than me. I know if I tell him how I really feel he won't feel the same and I'll just humiliate myself.
I snap out of my thoughts and go brush my teeth, slip on my black and white vans and grab my stuff. Shawn had just got there right in time and we both walked to the bus stop together. I looked over at him when we got onto the bus and he looked nervous. That wasn't normal for him.
"Hey, you okay?" I ask as we sit in our seats.
"Um, yeah why?" He said stuttering a bit.
"You look really nervous" I said.
"Y/N please, since when have I ever been nervous" he says smiling slightly.
"Alright, you got me" I said smiling back.
°At Lunch.
It was lunch and we were all sitting at our usual table. I was talk to a few friends when the bell rang to go to the next class. Right as was about to leave I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was, Shawn.
"Hey, um Y/N can you meet me at this oak tree in front after school?" He asks nervously.
"Yeah sure" I said furrowing my eyebrows, "Is something wrong?"
"No, no I just need to tell you something" he says.
"Okay sound good, see ya then" I say.
"See ya" he smiles and I smile back. Then we go our separate ways.
°After School
"You actually came?" He asks.
"Of course I did" I say. "So what did you want to tell me?"
"Okay I'm just gonna say it" he says and I nod.
"Y/N I can't keep this secret anymore. I've liked you since kindergarten, when I came up to you and saw you at recess, and introduced myself. I thought you were the most beautiful person I've ever laid eyes on and I still do. I don't care if I sound like a complete idiot, which I probably do. I need to tell you this, I need to tell you that I'm in love with you. Because I can't keep hiding it." He said.
You were shocked. Does he really mean this? You didn't say anything because you didn't know what to say.
"Y/N?" He says.
"Shawn, I feel exactly the same" I smile.
"Really?" He asks and I nod my head. He smiles and picks me up and spins me around and I laugh.
"Y/N will you be my girlfriend?" He asks.
"Of course" I smile and so does he.
Then he gently kisses me. It was our first kiss, and it was amazing.
I never thought I'd be this lucky to have him, and now I am.
