Dear Diary,
I didn't go to school today. Mum said I was too ill, turns out she thought I had the flu when in actual fact I had contracted a normal cold from being outside with Brad on Saturday.
It got to noon when I heard a knock at my front door so I went to open it. It was Callum and Jay. It isn't unusual for them to bunk off school but since it was match day today, I was confused and slightly alarmed to see them skipping school on practice day.
I asked them what they were doing and they told me that Dan had dropped out due to a stomach 'issue' of some kind. I grabbed my kit, as I wasn't exactly on my death bead, and left leaving a note on the fridge in case someone came home wondering where I was.
Before the game started, I wondered if Bradley would be there. I want to do anything to be with him all the time. I really enjoy spending time with him.
Within 12 minutes we had already scored against the opposing school. I was putting my all into this match as I had seen Bradley in the bleachers with his friend who I had recognised as Connor who was previously in my friendship group before the huge fight between him and myself. I had decided not to tell Bradley when I saw them walking around together however I decided it was not my place in anyway.
When the game ended my legs felt like blades were cutting into my calves and thighs. Although the pain was horrifying we had one 3-1 and it was one of the greatest successes in my life with two of those goals being scored by me.
After we all changed I was looking around for Brad but I couldn't find him so after an hour I gave up. The after party is tomorrow seeing as we all have study leave on Wednesday.
Anyways im going to save up my energy as I still feel crappy.
Love,
Tristan xxx
