When Anna Murphy, Oliver Wood, and Percy Weasley met in the Hogwarts Express nobody would have ever thought that they would get along. But they did. Percy was the lonely one in a family where it was impossible to be Aline. Oliver came from a family of quite Hufflepuffs who would never set a toe out of line whereas Oliver was loud and boisterous. Anna was misunderstood in her family of Ravenclaws because her life didn't revolve around acedmics and education. Nobody ever truly saw how unhappy they were with their lives until they were the best of friends and always together.
                                   -----------------
During Christmas break, Oliver, Anna, and Percy all went over the Burrow. Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny (and though they would never admit to it Molly and Arthur) found out Percy was bringing friends over they all expected some stuck up smart pricks to come. They were shocked to say the least when they showed up with Anna dangling by the arms from Percy's neck and her legs wrapped around Oliver's waist laughing like hyenas. The next morning, Percy, Oliver, and Anna raced down the stairs, fell then promptly nearly died of laughter. When Molly asked Bills and Charlie if they were always like this at school, Bill replied that he was surprised that Mollya and Arthur hadn't gotten any letter from McGonagoll complaining about how loud they were.
                                      ---------------
As they got older they stuck together. Their bond was never understood by anyone and they were basically attached to the hip. They spent every holiday altering houses annoying family. When that graduated Hogwarts they moved in together. At Percy's wedding to Audry Brooks, Oliver and Anna were the best men, at Oliver's wedding to Alicia Spinner, Percy and Anna were the best men, and at Anna's wedding to Adrian Pucey ( the only bearable Slytherin in their year) Percy and Oliver were the men if honor. They were god parents to their firstborns and honorary aunts and uncles. They stayed best friends until they were old and shriveled and even after that.
