Pagkabalik ni Michelle sa classroom, sinabi na niya kaagad kay Sir Shawn na si Gabriel nalang ang nagabot ng mga folders sa Student Council building.
After a couple of minutes, natapos nadin ang kanilang Basic Algebra class, then after that may short vacant sila.
Every vacant, natutulog lang si Michelle.
Oops! Ang larawang ito ay hindi sumusunod sa aming mga alituntunin sa nilalaman. Upang magpatuloy sa pag-publish, subukan itong alisin o mag-upload ng bago.
Dahil siya ay sleep deprived, because of acads and her part time job.
May night-shift kasi siya on weekdays as an assistant chef/ helper sa kitchen ng isang family restaurant na malapit sa village nila.
And on weekends, minsan may shift siya, minsan naman wala, depende yan sa sched niya for school.
Bukod sa siya ang only provider for both herself and Geraldine, need niyang i-maintain ang grades niya kasi pareho nga silang sponsored scholar ni Geraldine.
So balancing school life plus part time job is really hard for her, kaya kulang lagi tulog niya.
Bakit silang dalawa nalang ni Geraldine ang magkasama?
Well let me tell you their backstory.

About 5 years ago, both Michelle and Geraldine lost their parents in a car accident.
Their father was supposed to go on a business trip in Europe. And that certain day, ihahatid lang sana ng mom nila ang kanilang father sa airport.
But suddenly, they got into a car accident. Their father instantly died due to excessive blood loss, pero naitakbo pa sa hospital ang kanilang mom. But, dead on arrival.
After that tragic event, napunta ang magkapatid sa isang orphanage, at the age of, Michelle being 10 and Era being 9.
For some certain reasons, wala silang kakakilalang kamaganak, kahit isa, not even their grandparents.
Kaya sa orphanage ang bagsak nila. The good thing is, napunta sila sa isang magandang orphanage.
Yung mga sisters and kids doon ay sobrang mababait and full of love. They never felt alone because of that.
Nakapagpatuloy padin silang magaral sa isang public school. And because mataas ang IQ ni Geraldine, siya ay nag accelerate, which make the siblings classmates.
Naturally, Geraldine's IQ is a lot higher than her older sister. Pero for Michelle, she needs to study even harder for their future, kaya in no time na surpass niya ang little sis niya.
Normal lang ang buhay ng magkapatid sa orphanage. Si Geraldine, enjoying the time of her life, playing with the other kids in the orphanage. Just a normal thing for a kid to do.
