There's a fire in my soul,
And not the good kind.
Eating, blistering, burning
Away on the inside.
There's a fire in my heart,
Not one that fuel passion.
Pain, anger, scars.
There's a fire in my eyes,
And not the beautiful kind
spiteful, envious, raging
There's a wild fire in my life.
But one that is so visible,
that people forget it's there.
And when people try to put the fire out,
It feels as though they use gasoline,
Instead of water.
They feed it with there
Ignorance, hate, sadness.
I try to be a good person,
But this fire is burning up walls of ash.
We all know,
The only way to put out a raging fire,
Is to drown it.
And maybe,
Just maybe,
I'll drown with it.
